A simple, nostalgic return to the Kanto region, offers little if you are a series veteran eager for complexity and challenge. But if that's not your main interest, Pokemon Let's Go has it all! It's a simple, cute and fun game that will keep you hooked for hours. An excellent starting point for newcomers, and a great nostalgia trip for those in a search for one.

The price is well worth the amount of quality content you get here. With three games in one, you are looking at 50 plus hours of gameplay.

The Midnight Walk is a visually striking adventure with a unique stop-motion aesthetic and excellent sound design, yet it struggles to fully deliver on its narrative ambitions. It brims with creative potential, but ultimately feels like a missed opportunity—whimsical, yet clumsily told and mechanically shallow. Its short length works in its favor, as a longer runtime would likely highlight its repetitiveness and tonal inconsistency. Still, for the right player at the right moment, it may offer a rare and emotionally resonant experience.

The High Isle chapter provides players with some great new story content and a beautiful new region, but with its lack of quality side content, low amount of new items, and underwhelming card game, it is hard to recommend to anyone who isn’t a story buff of TES series and is a more of a hardcore MMO player.

Another year, another F1, this time with almost no major changes, microtransactions, dysfunctional VR support and ridiculously bad supercars modes and additions. Yeah, the first EA-published Codemasters game had some of their notoriously bad practices inside of it, and even though it is no surprise, it is a sad day, since last year's edition was one of the best F1 experiences ever made.

Dying Light: The Beast marks the return of Kyle Crane in a thrilling sequel that breathes new life into the series. With ferocious beast powers, adrenaline-pumping Chimera boss battles, and parkour that’s as exhilarating as ever, the game delivers plenty of standout moments. The open world can feel a bit too sprawling, and the controls occasionally slip into clunky territory, but the fast-paced combat and richly designed side missions more than make up for it. This is an excellent return to form — one that blends fresh ideas with the spirit of the original in a way fans won’t want to miss.

Great and fun homage to the retro shooters from the 90s

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a stellar and truly fun game that poses as a testament of Ryu Ga Gotoku’s Studio's excellent gameplay design and writing. Even though it is riddled with minor issues and is effectively a spin-off title, it is truly worth your time, at least for scratching that pirate gaming itch.

A dash of fresh air and a game that's a must buy for fans of point&click adventures. The story and atmosphere will grasp the player until the very end, letting him visit various locales. Goetia isn't high-budget but delivers a high-excitement experience.

Great new animations, magical moments, improved pass/receiving mechanics, and a lot more, makes for another great year of PES. It could have had more league licenses though.

If you're going into The Division looking for an MMO-styled Call of Duty, you'll leave empty-handed. But, if all you're looking for are tons of loot, great co-op fun with your friends, shooting endless streams of bad guys, all set in the realistic depiction of New York, be sure to grab your copy of the game.

The Ultimate Ninja Storm series has absolutely peaked with its fourth installment, with the largest roster to date and beautiful, smooth graphics. CyberConnect2 has created such an impressive visual style, we wouldn't mind them making a season or two of the anime.

After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.

The new instalment of the Dirt franchise is full of energy and style but lacks in some aspects that made the previous iterations so attractive.

Apex Legends Mobile is one of the best mobile ports out there, but if we’re comparing it to the original, it can still bring something new to the table. The controls can be a bit challenging at the start, but the game itself looks really beautiful and runs smoothly. To top it all off, the players even get some new content and features, like exclusive legends, game modes, and more.

Star Wars: Squadrons is an incomplete but satisfactory experience for anybody who has to scratch that Rogue Squadron itch. It plays relatively safe and can provide a dozen fun hours, but is still pulled down by its lack of content and lacklustre support for controllers.

Housemarque did it again! Alienation is another great twin-stick shooter coming from this renowned studio, an exhilarating co-op experience that is both as fun as it is rewarding.

Franchise Hockey Manager has the depth you would except from a great manager. Improved user interface will make your experience much smoother this time around.

Fate/EXTELLA LINK is a prime example of upgrading and actual improvement on the previous title. It presents a flashy, fun, action-packed, easy to get into game, that is great for old and new fans of the genre.

Great strategy game that, unfortunately, isn't worth its asking price. Basic multiplayer and skirmish modes fail to offer any longevity after you're done with the campaign.

Impressively interesting title which takes you golfing in a dystopian wasteland called Earth. While golfing your way through abandoned cities and listening to a Martian radio station, you will discover what had really happened to our once great society. Golf Club Wasteland is using nonlinear storytelling to a great extent and it is a truly amazing experience.

An updated version of last year’s edition does not offer enough content to justify its full price. But as ever, if you want to play the newest edition, you have but one choice. Sure, it’s better, more realistic and updated with new events and data, but the fans of basketball deserve more than an annual recycle and sadly, this is just that and a bit more.

Anger Foot is a dirty, filthy, incredibly fun and funny FPS where you introduce people’s faces to the business end of your foot. The silly humour fits perfectly with its gameplay loop, and while the game is pretty simplistic, it can be very challenging. A fantastic game from Free Lives and Devolver!

Maybe not as impactful as the original was 11 years ago, Alan Wake Remastered still manages to keep what gave it a cult status. Crisper graphics do take away bits and pieces of the atmosphere built on foggy, dark and smudgy visuals, but also breathe in some new life. Almost as amazing as it was when it was originally released, this remastered release is a game you should undoubtedly get if you are into the genre.

Frank is back, and DRDR is definitely the best possible way to experience this game. It fixes so many of the original problems while upgrading the engine and graphics to the newest RE engine, giving it an absurd upgrade for a “remaster”. It is a prime example of how remasters should be treated while providing players with endless hours of stupid cheesy zombie fun.

New FIFA installment, does not bring much to the table of the hungry fans. Yet, the new VOLTA mode brings quite enough to justify this year's release. A few upgrades and minor setbacks, make FIFA 20 a football simulation - still worth playing. At least until the next generation, this one will have to suffice.

So-called "love letters" can leave a person with a broken heart. While true to the classic, Wonder Boy - The Dragon's Trap does little to improve on the three decades old formula. While old players will love it, new ones might find this piece of old school classic a little bit too stale.

A bold step for the music/rhythm genre that is sure to scratch your itch, especially if you grew tired of the mainstream games that used to dominate the genre.
