The original DKC Returns pushed the genre so far that now, 15 years later, it is obvious just how much this game has aged. Some graphical improvements keep the game fresh but it still can’t hide the outdated design, which makes the new price tag even less justified. It is the definitive edition of this cult classic, yet it did not age all that gracefully.- PLAY! Zine

Othercide is a fantastic rogue-like-Xcom-like turn based strategy game with an awesome Noire-Gothic design. The initiative feature is a fresh twist to this genre and the soul-crushing sacrificing of the Daughters are the morbid features that make this game shine. This game will keep you stuck to the screen until you win.- PLAY! Zine

Pillars of Eternity II arrives on consoles in it’s the best edition with all additional content, completely bringing all of it’s best aspects to console gaming. With its rich non-linear narrative, astonishing world and lore and interesting characters and both real-time and turn-based gameplay, it still is a great game, even with its bad optimisation and confusing control scheme for controllers.- PLAY! Upgraded models and textures do bring new life to this 11-year-old title. That which once was absolutely superb is now being drawn back by an obsolete “pocket design” and a few elements that slow the experience down. But in whichever way you look at it, it is one superb game and possibly the greatest game of the series. It did not age well, no matter the quick facelift the studio performed.- PLAY! Zine

As a first real expansion to this unconventional MMO, Morrowind goes out of its way to pay homage to the 2002 hit game bearing the same name. Fortunately, it succeeds in evoking just the right amount of nostalgia, while maintaining its own storytelling identity, with its only shortcomings in those features expected of an MMO.- PLAY! Zine

If you are up for some cute, simple and potentially cooperative action RPG experience starring a cat and a dog, well this game will be right up your alley. Not too long or complex, yet truly can satiate your hunger for the cute... And some hunger for the action and RPGs. Give it a try! If nothing, it will make you giggle.- PLAY! Zine

If you ignore some minor bugs and issues, you’ve finally got yourself a decent competitor in the 4X genre. Humankind has gorgeous music, colorful graphics, and fun and challenging gameplay that will keep you wanting to play "just one more turn".- PLAY! Zine

Indivisible is a great looking game with simple mechanics, interesting story and lovely music. Too bad not all stretch goals from Indiegogo have been reached, but we hope to still see all that studio planned for this game one day.- PLAY! Zine

Despite the massive marketing push and promises of a “revolution,” EA FC 26 ends up feeling all too familiar — a shiny coat of paint over the same arcade-style gameplay. The new “Authentic” mode offers a touch of realism, but online matches are still a chaotic mess. EA’s continued obsession with microtransactions and the clumsy integration of women’s players into FUT only reinforce the impression that, once again, style has triumphed over substance.- PLAY! Zine

Blasphemous is a visceral, morbid, gory metroidvania that has beautiful artwork, design and is coupled with challenging but fair gameplay and platforming. However, the world that enthralled me needed more lore to keep me overwhelmed- PLAY! Zine

If you are a Danganronpa fan, this is a title to shake up the genre we don’t see much of nowadays. Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a gloomy and mature, yet wacky anime thriller mystery that promises a lot and delivers exactly as much. Presuming you don’t mind slower pacing and loads of loading screens, we can say with zero doubt - you are in for a treat.- PLAY! Zine

Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is a visual marvel filled with interesting but, sadly, underdeveloped characters. It is a gorgeous game that can be very rewarding but also brutally hard and punishing, especially with its platforming puzzles and sequences that often lack balance.- PLAY! Zine

Pacific Drive is a truly atmospheric experience that gives off that ‘’mystical adventure into the unknown’’ vibe. The family wagon which you drive becomes immediately iconic, and even with its roguelite structure, it provides a truly immersive experience that will keep you on your toes as you explore the Olympic Exclusion Zone and its mysterious landscapes.- PLAY! Solasta: Crown of the Magister is one of the best tabletop video game replications that successfully translates many of the famous tabletop mechanics into a video game. It has some problems, but despite its lower budget, lacklustre story and weirdish character models, it is worth your money and time, especially if you are an RPG or tabletop fan.- PLAY! Zine

Quantum Break is a dual experience - on one side is its great and interesting story with many interesting ideas, but on the other is mediocre gameplay. At the end, this is a game worth playing, especially if you're a completionist, but not a journey you'd be willing to take once more.- PLAY! Zine

Hell Is Us is an interesting experiment that deviates from the standard hand-holding exploration games and lets the players play on their own with little to no guidance. However, simplistic combat with a bit of reflex-based healing mechanics will deter casual gamers or even curious players that do not want to invest so much time in learning specific timings. However, for the patient and tenacious players, they will find a lot of fun here.- PLAY! Zine

Even though visually pretty, I found the game lacking serious depth when it came to the story, and consider that there were not enough points in the game for me to emotionally connect to either of the characters. When you take into consideration that plot twist is very predictable and that the game can be finished in less than one day, this game does offer a different perspective on the WWI from the other games currently on the market, but it won’t leave a lasting impression on you, it will become just a fleeting memory.- PLAY! Unravel Two changes the formula in ways it improves the game, but diminishes the strong atmosphere. So it's a win-lose situation. But fear not, it is still a great game -AND you can enjoy it with a friend, in an all new co-op mode. It deserves the third installment, fair and square.- PLAY! Zine

Not all the fans may think New ‘n’ Tasty is a faithful representation of the original, but for the newcomers - it sure is a good starting point. While waiting for the Soulstorm, it's a great opportunity to play the Switch port of the 6 years old remake of the 23 years old game - on the go.- PLAY! Zine

Tchia is a great game to get you acquainted with New Caledonia, but even more to get you relaxed. Charming graphics and some really strong atmospheric moments make this world a joy to explore. The lack of strong story direction may put you off from playing it, but if you are the laid-back kind, it is an experience you surely will remember for a long time.- PLAY! Zine

Riders Republic is a masterclass in world design and it is a truly surprising and fun experience for any extreme sports lover. It has some common drops in quality of experience, recurrent for most Ubisoft open-world games, but it still poses as a truly entertaining and original experience that will give pleasure to fans for some time, especially in a great and fun multiplayer and innovative track design and challenges.- PLAY! Crimson Desert is a game you must get used to for it to get amazing. In the first few hours I wanted to give up. However, I persevered and I would regret it if I hadn’t. The sense of wonder, exploration and combat is top notch and scratches that Skyrim itch I’ve been having for years. The story is weaker and starts super “MMOish”, but it picks up the pace later and immerses you into a political and supernatural war between… well, everybody! By the 100th hour I still have not discovered everything nor did I finish the story, but there is not a minute of free time that I don’t spend playing this game. It pulled me in, and won’t let me go, and at this point, I don’t want it to.- PLAY! Zine
