NCAA Football 09’s addition of the Online Dynasty mode unquestionably saved this game from mediocrity.

The sound is exquisite. Along with an inspired soundtrack featuring several original ditties (complete with vocals straight out of the 80's), the game also has terrific voicework for Ms. Splosion Man, who utters everything from Valley Girl talk to Madonna to current lines by Lady Gaga.

Defense Grid: The Awakening is not overly original within the tower defense genre, but does everything so exceedingly well in an anemic XBLA genre that it is impossible to resist.

We haven't seen a dancing game that's looked this fun since the old days of Dance Dance Revolution and the dance-bot. If anything here truly shines, though, it's the soundtrack.

What could've been a second-rate PC port for the service is instead a quality addition, one with hours' worth of gameplay, whether going on your own or joining up with friends in the building community. The stuff you can make is only limited by your imagination, and though it takes time, the effort is certainly worth it.

The gameplay itself is engaging and fun, and online play works pretty good, though there were times we ran into some lag, particularly during Jack Attack rounds.

Teaching your piñatas tricks, playing co-op with a friend, romancing piñatas, having the ability to trade piñatas with players online and much more make up countless reasons to pick up and have a wonderful time with one of Rare’s best Xbox 360 titles to date.

The only real negative are the unskippable tutorials that you get, featuring racing champ Vaughn Gittin Jr. Really, there's no way to get past his pep talks, and we really could've done without them for the most part.

Despite all it offers in terms of maps, vehicles, and weapons, the 360 version of Unreal Tournament III is unfortunately lacking. While PC and Playstation 3 users get essentially the same content to play with, the ocean of depth of their experience makes the 360 version look like the kiddie pool.

They took the old formula and added some new features making Marvel: Ultimate Alliance one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had on the 360 to date.

A violent and satisfying piece of visual poetry. The storytelling is one of the more impressive in recent memory and the abilities presented bring something fresh to console shooters. It’s just too bad the multiplayer is a disappointment. It’s the only thing holding me back from dubbing this stunner a classic.

It doesn’t try to just “blur” the line between the single player and multi-player modes; it completely takes the line out of the picture, creating a seamless experience that can be enjoyed by all with an Xbox Live Gold membership.

Unbelievably fun and unique.

Overall, it is certainly the best Hitman game of the series, and if you’re looking for a decent single player experience on the Xbox 360, then it’s definitely worth giving a go.

It’s literally a heaven for any metalhead looking for an extraordinary collection of metal and all of its subgenres. The art direction of Brutal Legend on the other hand is what pushes the visuals to the next level. Granted, the game isn’t the most beautiful game of 2009, but it’s definitely one of the more impressively designed titles to reach the Xbox 360.

Castle Crashers is a fantastic addition to XBLA, and a must-have for your collection. There are few games on the service that can match the depth here, and those that come close do not offer Live co-op.

It’s one of the best bargains on the Xbox 360 of more than thirty hours of entertaining gameplay. Since the original isn’t backwards compatible on the Xbox 360, this is your only chance to play through the unique Xbox FPS title.

It’s no secret that MvC2 is not a very accessible game and doesn’t bring anything new to the fighting game table like Street Fighter IV and BlazeBlu, but if you are looking to hone your MvC2 skills on more than those in your immediate vicinity, or just think that Wolverine vs. Megaman would be a dream match, there is little reason not to pick this game up the next time you log online.

I’m happy to report that this is one of the better retro revamp titles to come along. Despite that, many gamers will have to give this game a second thought before spending the 800 points, due to the low replay value and lack of multiplayer.

The addition of two new armies as well as vehicles and the multiplayer “class system” polish off the full package.

Split/Second is a phenomenal experience for everyone almost more so for those who take little to no interest in racing.

If you have never played Halo: CE before or just want to Pistol 3-Shot your friends once again, Halo: CE Anniversary is a must buy for all Xbox 360 owners, especially those that are fans of Master Chief in any way.

Fundamental to those dedicated enough to play it, but I can clearly see why Konami's still running behind EA Sports, due to the dated content and the small pieces of sloppiness in the presentation.

Despite the limitations the Xbox 360 controller presents to a game of this type, EA has done an exceptional job porting this game from the PC.

The FIFA series can no longer be labelled as a joke because this year it has surpassed PES2008. The sheer volume of content along with the realistic game play and superior graphics, has led me to this conclusion.

It’s the best RTS on the Xbox 360. Though this isn’t stating much, any forthcoming RTS will undoubtedly have to compare to Halo Wars in the future. Ensemble Studios did their job in creating an accessible RTS that newcomers won’t have too much trouble playing thirty minute sessions.

The mountains are impressive, offering lots of jumps, hidden paths and design diversity to make you feel like you're going through Russia, Siberia, whatever, without confusing the terrain.
