A bad game it isn't, it just takes time to adjust to. Once you get the hang of abilities and figure out the right tempo for puzzle solving, you're in for one moderately enjoyable trek.- Planet Xbox 360

Contracts is a huge addition, and one that'll add months of replay value long after you complete the single player mode. Throw in a "killer" presentation and you've got one of the year's most surprising sequels.- Planet Xbox 360

Warlords ends up being a bit of a mixed bag, as Atari tried to stuff the pot with too many recipes rather than simply dealing with what works (like its previous Xbox Live version of the game). However, if you're seeking a multiplayer romp or want to let off some steam with an alternative take on real-time strategy, this is worth going to battle with.- Planet Xbox 360

We can't really recommend NASCAR the Game: Inside Line to casual players, mainly because of its bumped-up difficulty, its nearly-empty online lobbies and the refusal to really do anything outside the typical NASCAR set-up.- Planet Xbox 360

Graphical hitches and gameplay tweaks aside, it's still one of the best first-person shooters out there, loaded with exciting moments and a story that – wait for it – is actually worth experiencing. Throw in the hours' worth of addictive multiplayer and you have something that'll hook you well into the next generation.- Planet Xbox 360

Though Assassin's Creed III isn't quite the perfect killing machine, it's a damn good one, and a game that definitely lives up to the hype.- Planet Xbox 360

Nobody knows action games better than Hideo Kojima and the Zone of the Enders HD Collection contains two of the best ever from the brilliant mastermind that brought the world other great titles such as the Metal Gear series.- Planet Xbox 360

A great game that comes up shy in being the ultimate Halo experience. Since this is 343's first installment in what is supposed to be a new trilogy, I think they deserve plenty of credit for making a game that may not be revolutionary but opens the doors for some major improvements in the future.- Planet Xbox 360

I found myself experiencing overused animations, buggy graphic errors, and incredibly forceful controls (I quickly had to resort to button mashing if I had any chance of actually winning a match). It's as if the developers created too much of a flashy shell, with a huge cast of playable characters, extended game modes, content libraries, and deep customization around a somewhat empty core that is the game itself.- Planet Xbox 360

The graphics look good, and the anime structure is loyal, but the gameplay just fails to keep up on any end. Drunken anime lunatics and kids are sure to love this, but everyone else should proceed with caution. You'll be going "Kamehame-HUH?!" in no time, assured.- Planet Xbox 360

In essence, 007 Legends falls flat on so many levels, it does a disservice to Bond instead of paying tribute to him. It's sloppy in some places, inconsistent and bland with its gameplay, and not really as well put together as it should've been.- Planet Xbox 360

While Serious Sam 3 doesn't quite evolve as highly as other quality first-person shooters on the market, it's one of the best – and most affordable – ones when it comes to the Xbox Live Marketplace downloadable front.- Planet Xbox 360

The figures may cost you a small fortune – especially if you're a parent – but the light-up ones leave a lingering effect that all ages will enjoy. The ability to play co-op, or battle against your buddy in the Arena, is just a cherry on top. So grab your wallet and join the romp-filled journey.- Planet Xbox 360

The presentation's just below overage, thanks to a number of glitches and uninspired level designs. It just generally falls apart – like some sort of scheme that Naughty Bear has hatched up.- Planet Xbox 360

While some aspects of spellcasting take some getting used to, and the horse sequences drone on way too often, you still get your money's worth here, especially if you're a fan of the series. It's just another game that takes you by surprise, despite the heavy criticism and doubts. And that's always good to see.- Planet Xbox 360

Though it's more on the tactical side than straightforward action, Enemy Unknown brings plenty of challenge, along with thoughtful gameplay and more-than-acceptable management options. Developers, take note – this is how you bring a franchise back.- Planet Xbox 360

Though it's got its problems, Dishonored is a damn good game, one that makes use of a compelling storyline and wraps it into strong first-person gameplay, and a presentation that's pretty hard to beat.- Planet Xbox 360

Fundamental to those dedicated enough to play it, but I can clearly see why Konami's still running behind EA Sports, due to the dated content and the small pieces of sloppiness in the presentation.- Planet Xbox 360

It's ridiculous how Visual Concepts makes a monumental series and continues to improve upon it, even if it's in small and subtle ways. NBA 2K13 shows nothing but forward progress, and continues to be one of the best sports series on the planet.- Planet Xbox 360

Capcom has done a remarkable job in presenting these beloved classics in their original state while adding just enough extra content like CRT Mode, The Vault and the slew of filters that allow you to recreate the game to look exactly like the last time you played it during the '90s.- Planet Xbox 360
