While this is not a perfect real-time strategy game, it is simplified enough that most hardcore Dreamcast fans will probably find it to be enjoyable, without having to worry about all of the problems, like resource management, that plagued some PC gamers.

One of the best 2D fighters ever made...It’s got everything you could want: nice graphics, spot on control, solid play mechanics, and it’s loads of fun to play. It’s nice to have a fighting game that requires some real strategy.

A solid final online title for the Dreamcast, and offers some insane party-game enjoyment, despite the fact that you have to pay for online play. However, the game is quite inexpensive, and is available at most stores for only $29.95, which might allow you to shell out for two months of online gaming.

As a sequel that improves on the original and gives experienced players a reason to shell out another $40, Tennis 2K2 is a smashing success. I think I just made a tennis pun, but I'm not sure.

If you do plan on going online with NBA 2k2 keep in mind that it might be convenient to have a Dreamcast keyboard handy, when setting up a game. It makes communication much easier.

Because Mat Hoffman is based on the first Tony Hawk game, there are a lot of tweaks and additions that I believe will give "THPS2" fans a sense that something is missing.

A great game. It takes everything you loved about the first game and adds even more. The new courses are great, and the addition of the Crazy Hop does wonders in terms of opening up the gameplay.

It isn't that the game isn't solid and fun. It's just that most players will wonder why they didn't just stick a couple of bucks in the arcade machine instead.

Whatever its shortcomings may be, Project Justice remains an incredibly entertaining game, bubbling over with personality and humor.

Giga Wing 2 takes pride in the details. With a higher resolution and an impressive 3D engine, the graphics look much sharper than any shooter on the Dreamcast console.

Although the length is a bit disappointing, "Another World" and the Agent Academy do help keep things interesting beyond the (very fun) main game.

Easily one of the better Dreamcast shooters behind "Gunbird 2" and "Bangai-O." Just be prepared to die. A lot. You'll get better in time.

Graphically, Spider-Man is quite impressive. Treyarch, the company behind all of Neversoft's Dreamcast conversions, has outdone itself on this title.

Control and camera issues, and the strange stop-n-go gameplay that Illbleed sports may be too annoying to make people want to endure the game's six levels. If you can get past those problems, then you may find something that is actually pretty enjoyable.

For somebody who doesn't play many shooters and is not "hardcore," I had a blast with Bangai-O... It does what it sets out to do very well.

It picks up from where "Quake III Arena" left off in terms of AI, on-line capabilities, and graphics

Daytona 2001 returns to the much truer arcade-style control, at the expense of that initial accessibility.

The game's attempts at arcade racing are very flawed, through poor level design which completely misses the scope for amazing "in your face" arcade levels, poor unrewarding game physics and also through badly implemented extra modes.

Dreamcast owners looking for the "Diablo" experience on their console will have a good time with Record of Lodoss War.

It's a well done arcade shooter and the perfect game to toss in when you have some time to kill.

Much to my disappointment, Iron Aces turns out to be a really great idea dragged way the hell down by far too many bad design decisions.

There is so much gameplay in this disk, that it would really be a shame to miss it.

The bottom line is that you must have this game. Even though it has a light story, even though it doesn't have much to offer solo players, PSO is a brilliant game--and what's more, it's a promise of amazing things to come in the Dreamcast's final days and in Sega's new future.

If nothing else, Typing of the Dead is kooky, fun and inventive, and a worthwhile addition to any Dreamcast enthusiast’s library. Uh, provided you own one of those keyboards.

Bizarre neglected to focus on polishing MSR's overall driving experience. Not that MSR is a bad game, but there are at least a few other Dreamcast racers I would have to recommend before it. "Test Drive: Le Mans," anyone?

Vanishing Point remains a blazing fast, satisfying and addictive racing game. Unfortunately, before you can really enjoy it, you'll need to find a way to work around the trash AI.

A masterpiece of lazy design strapped onto a fantastic idea, this game uses its license to fool unsuspecting fans of Raimi's films, and of survival horror games in general, into thinking it might live up to its title.

The feeling of surfing has never been realized so well, and the game itself is just a joy to play. If you're interested in a change of pace, consider picking this one up.

The battle system surpasses that of any other RPG on the market, and you'll be going out of your way to hunt down innocent little monsters and deliver them to their final reward.

If you missed out on RE2, are interested exactly how the storyline of Code Veronica came about, and don't mind the semi-dated graphics, Resident Evil 2 is a gripping adventure at a budget price.

Even with all its modes of play, a bad game is still a bad game, no matter how many servings it offers. Sno-Cross is simply a bad racing game.

While I really enjoyed the combat engine, I can't play through Starlancer and not think that it's a mere shell of a game.

This game features superb graphics, a great soundtrack, detailed environments, and good control. And while there are a few problems with enemy AI and cheap weaponry, there is still a lot of fun to be had with this title.

The game stunk. Bad graphics and terrible gameplay ruined a game with a cool license and awesome soundtrack.

The way Acclaim brought freestyle biking to a console is just awesome. While Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX is not perfect, it has enough good aspects in it to overlook the little bad things.

It's a brilliant, well-executed game with a few nagging shortcomings that keep it from reaching its true potential.

I've never been a fan of vehicular combat titles, and this game hasn't changed my mind.

You can look past the aged graphics, there is a great survival horror title here to be had.

With it's innovative full 24-hour racing mode, beautiful graphics, solid control, and tons of details, Le Mans finds itself in the company of the finest racers gamers have ever seen.

I loved Shenmue. But as great as I thought that game was, nothing could have prepared me for Shenmue II.

From the second you turn on your Dreamcast, you'll realize you're stepping into a game world like no other, and you may never want to leave.

Despite the niggling flaws (mostly carried over from the PC version), Quake III Arena is a first-rate title for the Dreamcast, and probably the best PC-to-console FPS port yet.

It's a must-have if you bust your Dreamcast out at parties, but not a must-have for everyone's collection.

It has its glorious moments and it has its "what the hell were they thinking" moments.

The result is something that comes close to being a masterpiece for its uniqueness within the racing genre and the sheer fun of its gameplay.

The variety of ways to progress in the game should keep them glued to the set. But be warned: there's very little here for us older gamers.

I feel that in spite of the few omissions, with its incredibly tight control, beautiful graphics, and excellent multiplayer modes, F355 Challenge takes the crown for best Dreamcast racer yet, and is a strong contender for best sim racer of all time!

Creative abortion.

With UFC, I experienced a sub-par game with great graphics and a main menu that you get to see a whole lot of.

The graphics and depth are sure to please even the most critical racing fan.

There are some real challenges and interesting missions here for those of you who are console flight sim enthusiasts (yes, all three of you).

It doesn't completely live up to its predecessor in all areas (ease of play, final boss), but in others (arena design, Adventure Mode) it's actually better.

Although D2 is as stylish as other Warp titles have proven to be, it just isn't any fun. A myriad of other complaints make this a rental, at best.

A game that will torture you with terribile acting, when it isn't putting you to sleep.

If you persist and have the time to learn Ecco's massive levels, however, you'll find it immensely rewarding, especially once you reach Atlantis itself.

You simply need to keep giving Seaman a few minutes of your time each day, and you'll be rewarded with a freak show the likes of which you've never seen.

Not an awful game. It just isn't a good game. It isn't anything. It feels like it happened by accident (an artist tripped and accidentally made a McGrath model).

A mediocre effort and use of the license. With only 22 wrestlers and subpar graphics and gameplay, the game should only appeal to desperate Dreamcast owners.

A great game whose worst flaw is that it's dumbed down just a bit too much for its own good.

The Street Fighter series continues to offer a depth of play that allows masters of the game to truly be masters. Anyone who considers themselves a fighting game fan should own this title.

A quality puzzle game with lots of replayability, tons of gameplay modes, and a nifty theme that's great for kids and adults alike.

ZR will just drive you nuts. Satisfaction, it seems, goes to the quick, not the dead.

The graphics, particularly the character models and animation, are stunning. The fighting is both strategic and intense, fun to watch and fun to play.
