Younger fans of the license or movie will definitely enjoy it since the developer was able to capture the style of the series so well. Older gamers will probably not get a lot of mileage out of the game since the core gameplay is so simplistic, but it should be just enough for younger fans.

NBA 07 doesn’t try to be something that it is not. It’s an arcade basketball title and it does that very well. The addition of the seriously fun minigames and improved presentation make it easy to recommend this iteration of the franchise.

The game changes a few of the things Harry fans have come to expect from the games, and though aimed at a younger audience, Harry fans will find a lot to like in the game.

It’s very impressive that Page 44 Studios managed to introduce “nail the trick” and focus mode to the PSP and make it as intuitive as possible.

Spider-Man: Battle for New York boasts fun 2D gameplay mixed with an impressive 3D presentation. The game’s biggest fault is that it hasn’t made any significant strides since last year, but it remains one of the most fun 2D action games on the Nintendo DS.

Although not quite as surprising as it was last year (I don’t think anyone expected a handheld Splinter Cell to be that good), it’s still a solid experience.

Break 'Em All manages to nail down the gameplay and proves to be a satisfying if familiar addition to the Breakout family.

As usual, the NDS version is the far superior portable version.

NBA Live 08 doesn’t add a whole lot of new modes, but the stronger gameplay goes a long way. The improved, more realistic gameplay, coupled with the excellent presentation package make NBA Live 08 a must-have for basketball game fans.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is very sharp, lighthearted and fun game that will please younger fans of the movie with its varied gameplay, good looks and clever writing. A recommended purchase for fans of the movie.

The action is competent if underwhelming but some of the career mode choices were right on. Indeed, Juiced is hurt more by its release date than anything else.

A solid game. It meets all the requirements for a hack-and-slash game. You’ll find a number of enemies, character progression, and a decent presentation. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have its own charm, which subtracts from the game substantially.

Squad Assault is a real time strategy game at heart and if you’re familiar with the genre, you’ll get used to the game pretty quickly. The overall controls haven’t changed much over the years.

The game has very solid gameplay, just the right length and best of all it is worth a mere $15. If you're even slightly interested in either the franchise or shooters; you should pick this up.

A very solid game, just not the upgrade I expected from the console versions. Nonetheless, the game remains fun to play and offers a compelling experience.

The game’s combat system is fundamentally solid with an excellent combo system that is actually much more in-depth than I originally suspected.

Shattered Union isn’t perfect. It fits a niche market that very few developers are pursuing though.

The biggest knock against the game is the length. The single-player game is only seven hours long. You’re able to unlock movies and outfits, which are fun, but may not be worth a play through.

The game sports a good story and solid gameplay with unique abilities for the different characters. It's more enjoyable than the first game and good filler until the second The Incredibles film.

Instead of a linear adventure, the game mixes different styles of gameplay into unrelated missions and while strange on paper, the gameplay works surprisingly well.

One of those amazingly fun, carefree games and doesn’t take itself too seriously. The action is hectic and breaks every law of physic and though the gameplay isn’t that varied, it’s still quite fun.

A cheap but solid rhythm title. The rather hectic action isn’t for everyone, and the game will have time with the mainstream audience, but fans of the genre will not be disappointed.

Even though you can’t freely walk around in a recreated Columbia University (like the console games), Spider-Man 2 for the PSP is recommended. Be warned though: the game can be completed in around five hours (and I was taking my time).

NCAA March Madness 07 has a few gameplay issues. If you list them, they do add up but in practice the game is enjoyable and will prove fun to all but the most picky of gamers.

MySims on Nintendo DS focuses on odd jobs and building relationships with the various townspeople. The game isn’t the most complex game out there and the lack of actual things to do ends up hurting its replay value. The kiddies will like it, as will hardcore fans of the Animal Crossing games.

Transformers on DS is a good if unremarkable robot game. The gameplay is enjoyable though a touch too repetitive, but the game does have likeable characters and solid production values.

A good port of the next-generation version. It keeps the solid gameplay and manages to introduce "nail the trick" and focus mode to the mix. As expected there are some concessions. The graphics are noticeably worse, the motion capture animation system is gone, the streaming world is gone, and inexplicably the online multiplayer is gone, too.
