One of the most imaginative games Treasure has ever made. The care and though spent on every stage and boss encounter is impressive. The gameplay is tight although quite not as polished as Treasure's best. The only true criticism can be leveled at the length of the levels which often feel too long for such intensive action. Alpha Protocol reminds me of old Troika RPG's: the setting and ideas are great, but the technical execution is a bit flawed. Still, if you can look past the ugly exterior it's a fun experience. [June 2010]

The custom tracks, cars and drivers make the game much more than just the sum of it's parts. Shame I wasn't able to try out the multiplayer races, so the score is based purely on the singleplayer experience. [June 2010]

If there were a game version of Twin Peaks, it would be Alan Wake. The great Pacific Northwest is a magnificently eerie backdrop for a horror story coming to life. It paces the combat and slower moments well, and it's nice not to have to fight every fight: running away works just as good. The overdone narrator voice gets annoying at times, but luckily Alan's musings lessen towards the end of the game. [May 2010]

Red Dead Redemption is by far the best western game ever made. The world is superbly detailed and believable place. However, the story and characters don't quite live up to the normal Rockstar standards. Especially the middle part of the game feels like a bunch of non-related missions instead of coherently told story. [June 2010]

The worst of all of Dragon Age: Origins DLC. A short and uninspired trek through the final battle of the game from the baddie’s perspective doesn’t warrant any cheers as it fails to deliver any emotions or story into the field. [June 2010]

Capcom has invested much on the multiplayer content, but unfortunately the game fails to deliver. The campaign is much less nerve wrecking with human aid, but the biggest issue concerning other multiplayer modes is the lack of players. [June 2010]

Succeeds in its near impossible task and actually improves on the almost perfect Skate 2. Difficulty levels, changes in challenge structure and the new cityscape are all just golden, and while the improvements are rather minor, they're enough to make Skate 3 the new king of skateboarding games. Swedish western shootout works like a charm. The game encourages to work together and the fast-paced action is sure to give thrills. Lack of maps is the main concern, but this is easily repaired with DLC, which is hopefully on the way. [June 2010]

A quite good FPS slash beat 'em up. The fighting is fun, but Grant City is a visually dull place. [May 2010]

A quite good action-adventure. Nier mixes in different gameplay styles quite carelessly - some of them work, some of them don't. Luckily none of them last too long. The basic enemies are quite dull, too. [June 2010]

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa is an excellent football game, but one would expect for more than just a new penalty taking system and a couple of tweaks here and there. Authentic match atmosphere is not good enough reason to keep playing after the World Cup is taken to Finland in both main game modes. [June 2010]

Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing is a bit better than Crash Course DLC for Left 4 Dead, but only barely. Three levels is still too few for a campaign and the potential drama from the original survivors isn't used up to its potential. Also the campaign is filled with the least desirable ideas from Left 4 Dead, like annoying perma-panic in shallow water and yet another scavenge-type ending. Maybe next time we'll finally get something decent, Valve? [June 2010]

A very good and addictive action RPG. You kill a lot of monsters and collect even more stuff, which are used to upgrade your equipment. The missions are a bit samey, though. [June 2010]

Now with added unlockables and online play, Final Fight's simple but satisfying gameplay is as fun as ever. But surely Capcom could have coupled the classic beat 'em up with something better than the lacklustre Magic Sword? [June 2010]

A fun little mission and Kasumi herself is well written. Too bad that we can't have any real dialogue with her once the mission is over. Also it still feels like cheating to just give us one mission instead of the normal two-part structure we get in the basic game. [May 2010]

A few years back no one would have said it, but now it can be said. Thank God for Steam. Without this digital distribution platform we wouldn't be able to play games such as Plain Sight. The fast-paced multiplayer game is a unique combination of Super Mario Galaxy and first person shooters. After an hour of gaming, it plays like a charm. Plain Sight is like a refreshing gush of wind in a musty tomb, and for nine Euros it is an absolute bargain. [June 2010]

When a game that is situated at a prison feels like a punishment, one could think, that the game reaches its goal. Games should be fun, but this prison adventure drop's the soap as soon as the game starts. [May 2010]

With three brand new maps and two old ones, the only thing special about the Stimulus Map Pack is the steep price. You really need to be a hardcore Modern Warfare 2 enthusiast to get your money's worth. [May 2010]

An expansion pack to the original game that adds many improvements such as better graphics, new quests and of course multiplayer which is the biggest new feature. The multiplayer supports up to 64 players in various game modes, from simple deathmatch to more complex siege mode, and it's very enjoyable. The singleplayer mode doesn't feel as finished as the multiplayer because it still has some bugs and unfinished features. It also doesn't have enough new content which is why it resembles the original Mount & Blade too much. [June 2010]

Feels, in a good way, more like Master of Orion 3 than the real MOO3 ever did. It is very interesting, unique take to 4X-genre, very nice to play but needs more bloodthirsty AI opponents. War, not only skirmishes, please. [May 2010]
