This game isn't a Thriller. It's actually much closer to Bad. The motion controls aren't as Smooth as Criminal and the low difficulty level makes me stop before I get enough. The way this game makes me feel is somewhat mixed, because The Experience is occasionally fun replacement for aerobic. If a game made from the King of Pop generates to an muscle exercise, does it do justice for the memory of a legend? [May 2011]

Top Spin 4 is probably one of the best tennis games ever made mainly by its simulatorish atmosphere and absolutely marvellous career game. The controls work like a charm with pad, but unfortunately the Move support doesn't work as well as it should. Motion controls make the game extremely hard. AI doesn't cut any slack and therefore there's no error for controller based errors. [June 2011]

Although the art of sniping has transformed into a game quite nicely, the other aspects don't compliment the fine mechanics of long distance shooting. The basic idea behind A Shadow's Tale is quite intriguing, but the game design fails to drain the main portion of its drive. The game plays it's strongest hand in the opening quarter and unfortunately rest of this trek is repetition of the few good ideas. In Age of Empires Online you manage your very own online kingdom, fight other players and solve quests that require you to complete different objectives such as building temples or destroying enemy towns. At its core, the game plays like a typical real-time strategy game but it doesn't feel too traditional thanks to the various MMORPG features such as skill trees, crafting and equipable items. If there were a game version of Twin Peaks, it would be Alan Wake. The great Pacific Northwest is a magnificently eerie backdrop for a horror story coming to life. It paces the combat and slower moments well, and it's nice not to have to fight every fight: running away works just as good. The overdone narrator voice gets annoying at times, but luckily Alan's musings lessen towards the end of the game. [May 2010]

Red Dead Redemption is by far the best western game ever made. The world is superbly detailed and believable place. However, the story and characters don't quite live up to the normal Rockstar standards. Especially the middle part of the game feels like a bunch of non-related missions instead of coherently told story. [June 2010]

The worst of all of Dragon Age: Origins DLC. A short and uninspired trek through the final battle of the game from the baddie’s perspective doesn’t warrant any cheers as it fails to deliver any emotions or story into the field. [June 2010]

Capcom has invested much on the multiplayer content, but unfortunately the game fails to deliver. The campaign is much less nerve wrecking with human aid, but the biggest issue concerning other multiplayer modes is the lack of players. [June 2010]

Succeeds in its near impossible task and actually improves on the almost perfect Skate 2. Difficulty levels, changes in challenge structure and the new cityscape are all just golden, and while the improvements are rather minor, they're enough to make Skate 3 the new king of skateboarding games. Has some potential, but there are simply too many bots and too few actual players. [May 2010]

Swedish western shootout works like a charm. The game encourages to work together and the fast-paced action is sure to give thrills. Lack of maps is the main concern, but this is easily repaired with DLC, which is hopefully on the way. [June 2010]

A quite good FPS slash beat 'em up. The fighting is fun, but Grant City is a visually dull place. [May 2010]

A quite good action-adventure. Nier mixes in different gameplay styles quite carelessly - some of them work, some of them don't. Luckily none of them last too long. The basic enemies are quite dull, too. [June 2010]

2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa is an excellent football game, but one would expect for more than just a new penalty taking system and a couple of tweaks here and there. Authentic match atmosphere is not good enough reason to keep playing after the World Cup is taken to Finland in both main game modes. [June 2010]

Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing is a bit better than Crash Course DLC for Left 4 Dead, but only barely. Three levels is still too few for a campaign and the potential drama from the original survivors isn't used up to its potential. Also the campaign is filled with the least desirable ideas from Left 4 Dead, like annoying perma-panic in shallow water and yet another scavenge-type ending. Maybe next time we'll finally get something decent, Valve? [June 2010]

A very good and addictive action RPG. You kill a lot of monsters and collect even more stuff, which are used to upgrade your equipment. The missions are a bit samey, though. [June 2010]

Now with added unlockables and online play, Final Fight's simple but satisfying gameplay is as fun as ever. But surely Capcom could have coupled the classic beat 'em up with something better than the lacklustre Magic Sword? [June 2010]

A fun little mission and Kasumi herself is well written. Too bad that we can't have any real dialogue with her once the mission is over. Also it still feels like cheating to just give us one mission instead of the normal two-part structure we get in the basic game. [May 2010]
