Accessible action RPG with lots of exploration, charming characters and stylish levels. However, it's not good enough for the upper class - and they seem to be fine with it.

Loop Hero may not be for everyone, but once you get the hang of it, you will find an experience that feels unique, relaxing and unreasonably addictive.

A loving remake of an absolute classic, tailor-made for everyone who loved it back in the day. For newcomers, this means they'll have to get used to many quirks, but the nostalgia trip is rewarding for both parties: It contains moments that have made gaming history.

TOHU shines bright through its unique and charming visual design. The puzzles are creative and overall well implemented, but somewhat easy at times. Unfortunately, the story does not hold up to the games presentation and fails to evoke interest or real emotion.

Horizon: Call of the Mountain certainly doesn't reinvent the VR wheel, but it convinces with a fantastic presentation, an unparalleled attention to detail, and great moments that literally transport the player into this impressive world. Horizon fans in particular should not miss this experience.

I don't see any real reason to recommend Phoenix Point more than the Firaxis games. But if you've spent hundreds of hours with XCOM and you've had enough of the series, you might notice the small differences to the competitor and thus be offered some variety.

Half-Life: Alyx isn’t as good as it could be, mostly because of some sequences that drag on for too long, the multi-tool which just isn’t fun to use and some uninspired design choices. Nevertheless, Valve has created a very good VR-shooter and a worthy entry in the Half-Life-series. Just don’t expect it to blow you away the way Half-Life 2 did back in 2004.

The game also utilizes the features of the DualSense controller. When Indy punches Nazis, you can feel the haptic feedback, and thanks to the adaptive triggers, you can feel the pressure points when firing firearms.

Blood-curdling horror - weapons, gameplay, enemy design and visuals are all at their best. However, the performance drops are a real annoyance.

New fodder for hungry Monster Hunters: Wild Hearts isn't in the same league as the original, but it offers fresh hunting fun and cool monsters... erm, kemonos.

Job Job makes what is an otherwise passable collection special, for it is one of the best games in the history of Jackbox Party Pack. If you are already a fan of the series and like to play it at parties, this one can’t be missed.

We liked Pikmin 1+2 a lot. Especially the improved visuals and the solid port to the Nintendo Switch are positive points. However, those who expect any new content or other improvements besides better graphics might be disappointed.

The love for the source material really shows and it is evident that Teyon understands what fans want from a RoboCop-title... The game drifts a bit too heavily into fan service from time to time, which is excusable but still a valid point of criticism.

Don’t go into Football Manager 2022 hoping for great presentation or spectacular graphics, for you’re not gonna get it. No, this is more like „Looking at Excel Sheets: The Game“, but for what it is worth, it excels at that (pun very much intended). It’s complex, it’s slow, but if you find your way into it, it is also extremely satisfying once you get the hang of it.

In its core the Console Edition of Crusader Kings 3 remains the great strategy game that we know from the PC. The port comes with some good ideas for the controls, but the playing experience is somewhat different. Mostly because information or functions had to be moved to unfamiliar places and are sometimes cumbersome to find.

Super Monkey Ball has what fans expect from it: cute monkeys rolling around in plastic balls. It’s suitable for beginners as well as for more experienced players. You can also play online against players all over the world. Overall, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania plays it safe and satisfies fans of the series by doing so.

We highly recommend the lovingly crafted adventure of Hanna and her friends. The developers have impressively achieved what they set out to do with their debut work. Depending on how you play, the eight chapters of the game take around ten to twelve hours to complete. They are packed with an emotional narrative and exciting stealth puzzles.

A mostly uninspired action-adventure, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Combat and exploration deliver good, old-school fun and the levels are brimming with secrets. However, the story turns out rather shallow and most of the collectables and upgrades are not nearly as motivating as in the first Darksiders game. But if you are a fan of the series and keep your expectations in check, by all means, go for it.

When it comes to combining fluid combat with a gorgeous open world, Halo Infinite is an astounding success. In terms of story, side activities and indoor level design however, this entry leaves much to be desired. The multiplayer is a beast of its own, merging modern design choices with many traditional qualities. Even if you usually don't go for free to play games, this is easily one of the best Halo Multiplayer experiences in a long time.

Overall, Mordhau delivers a lot of medieval fun. The fights are exciting and thanks to the big selection of weapons there’s one for every taste. The fact that there aren’t very many maps and the lackluster battle royale mode hold the game back a little bit. But it still delivers what it promises and is definitely worth your attention.
