Rematch is the perfect solution, especially this summer, for anyone who's long since grown tired of EA's football series and needs a breath of fresh air.

Doom: The Dark Ages is a flawlessly playable shooter that impresses with its blend of old-school gunplay and mechanical depth. Lame story and vehicle sections aside, you probably won't find more intense shooting anywhere else this year.

It's really trying to be as brilliant and engaging as Sands of Time - but it does not succeed. Forgotten Sands is just a good, solid action-adventure with lots of fun moments, especially when it comes to acrobatics. But the combat feels blunt and the story is downright uninspired. Still, if you like the series, you should definitely give a try.

With Tropico 6, Limbic Entertainment created a worthy successor to their franchise. Nonetheless, with its 15 story-missions, Tropico 6 will probably keep you entertained for many days.

Earth Defence Force 5 is yet the best game in the series. It offers just more of everything in comparison with its predecessors.

The second part of the Dark Pictures Anthology improves upon almost everything from its predecessor. Little Hope presents a captivating story, but the shallow gameplay and underwritten characters are definitely a matter of taste.

Even though Haven is based on loose and shallow gameplay, the relationship between the protagonists Yu and Kay carries the game over these obstacles with ease. The cute love story is authentically written and successfully enchants players in its process.

Anyone who didn't like the first installment and hopes to finally immerse themselves in the dark sci-fi world with the sequel won't have much fun with the second installment either.

Dungeons Of Hinterberg tells a surprisingly profound story about alpine tourism in Austria. Many puzzle and combat elements are already familiar from other representatives of the genre. However, the fresh setting, the pretty art style and the charming characters give the game an unmistakable touch.
