Whether you bleed for all things Battlefield or are just a gamer after a moderately priced casual shooter that is fun to pick up and play, you can't go past the entertaining gameplay of Battlefield 1943.- PALGN

Monkey Island is back. This first episode is a strong start, with Guybrush at his best, an amusing script and a barrel of grog to boot.- PALGN

Worms 2: Armageddon is a worthy follow-up to 2007's Worms. With an improved online infrastructure, new vertical levels and a variety of gameplay options, the game will keep you entertained for a long time.- PALGN

Movie tie-in or not, competent or not, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a half-arsed effort given the source material.- PALGN

It does very little new or unique, but Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood makes effective use of its theme and setting to deliver a taut, focused experience which feels novel amidst an ocean of repetitive WWII or post-apocalyptic shooters.- PALGN

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger breathes new life into the tried and tested genre. However, it could have made a much bigger impact if it had arrived here sooner.- PALGN

Despite a steep learning curve for newcomers and the odd disappointing feature, Fight Night Round 4 is the ultimate boxing game and one that revels in both the skill and brutality of the Sport of Kings.- PALGN

Although it sets a new standard by giving players the ability to change Wii remote sensitivity and button mapping, at the end of the day The Conduit is an average run and gun shooter.- PALGN

Despite remaining very similar to its predecessor and with a number of ongoing flaws that have yet to addressed, Overlord II still managed to largely overcome these shortcomings with a unique sense of humour and an undeniably high fun-factor.- PALGN

While strategy elements make the title more appealing and accessible to a broader audience, ultimately it’s not enough to compensate the repetitive hack and slash gameplay. Unless you’re fan of the series, then there’s little that will hold your interest.- PALGN

Fun accessible gameplay, coupled with enough options to keep its life cycle ticking over makes Anno 1404 one strategy title that we highly recommend.- PALGN

Ghostbusters offers some unique gameplay, an amusing story and a lot of fun for fans. Presentation issues hold back the PlayStation 3 version, but otherwise it's the best Ghostbusters game ever.- PALGN

An addition to the long line of adventure video games that will leave players feeling cold where gameplay is concerned. Suda 51 fans should play it for the story and the music, nothing more.- PALGN

At the end of the day, adults most likely won't find much long-lasting entertainment in LEGO Battles. But in short bursts, there is some fun to be had in revisiting a piece of your childhood.- PALGN

If you're a Shinobi fan or just someone looking for a cheap title to play, you might take away some fun from the XBLA package of Shinobi, but if you're looking for more substance in your XBLA experience, we don't recommend you go a round with this ninja.- PALGN

Prototype is basically a game that you can pick up and play, have an absolute blast with, then walk away barely understanding what just happened. The chaos that ensues within the city is immense and often times damn near overwhelming, making you feel the aftershock after you’ve done it all, with a sudden familiar sound you know called silence.- PALGN

While Virtua Tennis 2009 is still the best arcade tennis game around, it is hard to recommend for anyone who has any of the previous games. With too few changes and a faulty online experience, Virtua Tennis 2009 doesn't quite miss the ball, but it's certainly no ace.- PALGN
