Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor is a fun addition to the series, but ultimately it falls short of bringing the quality and quantity of gameplay provided by its predecessors.

A competent shooter which nonetheless feels like a squandered opportunity and a misstep for its franchise; decent fun for a few hours, but destined to be forgotten within minutes of its end credits scrolling by.

A good looking portable kart racer that is fun in short bursts, but is ultimately hampered by its awkward control methods and lack of true creativity within the genre.

As a change of pace, Dragon Ball Z: Harukanaru Densetsu works reasonably well, though still manages to stumble on some of the typical card-game pitfalls.

Newcomers to World in Conflict will find some value here, but veterans shouldn't bother.

The incredibly stupid AI is unforgivable and is something that shouldn't be an issue in any game these days.

SimCity DS is classic SimCity, but with a cluttered interface and a bunch of other minor annoyances.

Perfect for the easy goers and newcomers of the genre, serious strategy role-playing game fans should look elsewhere for Square Enix flavoured depth and challenge.

NWN2 doesn’t even come close to matching the high caliber that has been reached with other recent action-RPGs on the market, and is ultimately a poorly executed finish.

Blazing Angels 2 goes in guns-a-blazin', but runs out of fuel rather quickly.

Viking: Battle of Asgard is a passable hack-and-slash that would have left a stronger impression if the style managed to outdo the substance.

The games are just as you remember them, damn excellent, but the lack of bonus material and additional Sonic games severely hurts the overall package.

Sega Superstars Tennis mixes tennis and mini games and unfortunately doesn't really excel at either.

There's a great deal of technical power and content in this little disc and fans of the original will love it, but the true potential of Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy remains untapped.

Reasonably innovative and inventive, Alone in the Dark has some great elements, unfortunately these are hampered by an equal dose of awkward negatives, preventing the game from truly bringing glory back to the franchise's name.

Tony Hawk's Proving Ground does many things right, but frustrating goals and unrefined gameplay mechanics seriously dampen the experience.

Caesar IV is by far the best Roman city builder that has been released this year, but honestly that isn’t much of an achievement. A game that isn’t particularly stable, attractive or user-friendly, it’s hard to immerse yourself in the Caesar IV experience.

While Transformers: The Game may be something of a typical movie tie-in, there's just enough spark here to provide a bit of fun for anyone who likes the movie or is just looking for some dumb fun.

Escape from Paradise City tries to bring the RTS and RPG together, but a breakdown in the marriage is caused by a poor interface, lousy AI and a lack of gameplay balance.

Mystery Dungeon is far from being a poor game by any standards, it’s just a game that makes terrible choices that limit its appeal greatly.

Alpha Protocol is a commendable attempt at story-driven, role-playing action which sadly doesn't live up to its promise, leaving many of us to wonder at what it could have been with a little more polish.

Meet the Robinsons showed a great amount of potential simply by the fact it had solid touch screen controls – a good sign for any movie licensed game on the DS. While it does have its moments, its short life span and lack of depth bring it down.

Fantastic value and a great look back at how far gaming has come. Unfortunately though, given the choice between this or a Platinum game, we'd choose the platinum game.

Final Fantasy's appearance on the Xbox 360 is basically pointless. Unless you're a die hard fan of the title then it's advised you look elsewhere. There's nothing overly wrong with the game - it just hasn't dated well.

Ultimate Board Game Collection is a decent game, but it's still a little bit overpriced for our liking.
