Saw II has a few decent puzzles, and fans may appreciate some of the story's revelations, but terrible combat, poor boss encounters and the complete lack of scares detract from the experience.

As different, interesting and funny as Stubbs is, clunky controls are annoying, poor design and many dubious decisions are intolerable at market price and simply, an ordinary game is an ordinary game.

A casual affair. While the mini games are decent and perfectly suited to a handheld, the tennis part of the game is average.

When it’s all said and done, 2006 FIFA World Cup has all of the glitz and glamour of the tournament, but lacks the depth and lasting value that most gamers would expect from a football game.

NASCAR 08 feels very bare, though there is still a reasonably good foundation for EA to build upon for future years.

While there is nothing new for veterans or anything to change the minds of the pessimists among you, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence is a good game that commemorates a classic series. Too bad that it’s pretty much redundant as a portable game.

A bit of disappointment for Dynasty Warriors fans and newcomers alike. A great deal of potential has been wasted.

The lack of portability and obtuse load times mean that it has no advantage over the PS2 or Xbox 360 versions - that, and you'll be paying the same, if not more than the PS2 version.

Uno Free Fall is a decent budget priced Game Boy Advance puzzle game. It may not be as fun as actual Uno, but it's easy to pick up and play.

Although older gamers may not find much appeal, if you’re a young girl who loves princesses and fantasy tales, then you’ll like what Disney Princess: Magical Jewels has to offer.

Beat Hazard has a brilliant premise, which is sadly let down by uninspired gameplay and lacklustre presentation. Still, if you're a fan of twin-stick shooters and love music, then this game is for you.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes brings nothing new to the hack-and-slash table, nor does it improve on any of the genre's typical features.

Not bad for a TV tie-in, but sadly lacking when judged against the entire DS catalogue.

Quality gameplay squandered by clumsy design, The Mercenaries 3D misses the opportunity to become the definitive The Mercenaries game, instead settling for a passing distraction.

While the PS2 port of Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters isn’t a bad game, it is still the worst game in the series and doesn’t live up to its predecessors. Probably best for die-hard fans only.

G-Force is, against all odds, a decent kids game. Entirely derivative, but it steals from the best.

Obviously a game that was rushed out of development way too early.

Gripshift is still an enjoyable game, it's just not as enjoyable as the PSP version which was released more than 18 months ago now.

An average attempt at soccer on the DS. EA appear to have tried to produce a fully fledged soccer game but we cannot help but feel that the DS version is stripped down.

So while it's not that bad, Lair probably could have or really, should have been much better.

Singstar Pop Hits is an okay title that suffers from an unlocalised soundtrack and a poor selection of songs. The game's still a lot of fun, but previous titles in the series are easier to recommend.

If you liked A New Beginning, then there is little reason why you shouldn’t pick up The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. The game uses the same basic combat system and adds a few new elements to it. Just don’t go expecting too much more.

With a short single player lifespan, Start the Party! is produced well enough, but is truly a multiplayer game at heart.

A rather forgettable, derivative FPS experience. Only worth a try if you're absolutely desperate for a shooter fix, and don't care about dropping some cash for a copycat title.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games is a mediocre mini-game compilation for the Nintendo DS. The Wii version is better and there are far better mini-game titles on the Nintendo DS.

While the story is certainly entertaining, the gameplay is too linear to be taken seriously. The game can be completed in an evening, but it's undoubtedly cool being able to explore the island and its characters first hand if you watch the show.

An update needed for some with the host of new cards introduced, but the basic single player Story Mode feels rushed and tacked on. Unfortunately, you can't help the feeling it's also the reason behind the rehashed World Championship elements, when development time could of went into giving us something fresher.
