Friendly enough to for the non-Sims-enthusiasts among us and something fresh for players that have been around the block before, The Sims Medieval shows that there's still some life in this franchise yet.

A classic example of style over substance. Superb production values, but there's no real meat in the underlying game.

Run, jump and dodge - these are the simple commodities in which Klonoa trades. Lush visuals and solid mechanics make this an excellent remake which stands testament to the power of the 2D plane.

LEGO Indiana Jones sticks to an almost identical formula to the LEGO Star Wars games before it, but with its adventure-themed gameplay and incredibly entertaining cooperative features, the game is a solid purchase for anyone who wants to have some pure, uncomplicated fun.

Brain Training sounds pretty promising as a concept, and there is some impressive technology behind the game, but portions of the title are noticeably rough.

While the shonky AI and cumbersome controls take away from the game, there is no denying that Ring of Fates is another solid gaming experience from Square Enix.

While Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 plays a good game of footy, one can’t help but wonder what more could have been done on the PS3 or Xbox 360. Or when we’ll actually see it.

A great introduction to the Wii’s unique abilities and a party game most people will enjoy. The bunnies are the real stars of the game, and are its main source of humour and interest.
