The genre mixture that gels well together. Good RTS elements and responsiveness compliment the CCG aspects. Just be prepared to potentially get your wallet out for those microtransactions.

There’s just something so appealing about smashing vases against walls and ripping carrots out of the ground. A fun and ingenious design which makes Eledees a winner.

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 doesn't completely revolutionise the genre of wrestling games, but it certainly has enough new tricks and improvements to make it one of the most compelling additions to the series in some time.

Although there are some niggles for both newcomers and pros, Magic: The Gathering is a great card game that translates well into a fun video game.

Despite its flaws, Frontlines: Fuel of War has solid gameplay and an exciting multiplayer mode that stands out from the pack. While it may not be the most original game ever made, that doesn't change the fact that it's a whole lot of fun to play.

The Sims 2 isn't the instant classic that the PC version became, but Maxis had to face a lot of issues when porting the game to the consoles, and aside from a lackluster story mode and less than ideal controls the game is still fairly enjoyable.

If you play LEGO Rock Band as standalone game and then export the tracks to your hard drive, you’ll get the best value out of this title. Anyone playing this merely as a standalone game without any extra DLC, or using it as a track pack, will have to carefully evaluate the included tunes before they Lego of their cash.

Top Spin 3 is a decent game with an incredible learning curve. Anyone who has the patience to stick with it will enjoy the game, but anyone who is just a casual fan of tennis games will be put off by the steep learning curve.

Dead Head Fred is an interesting, immersive and innovative game that makes good use of the PlayStation Portable's capabilities. A few gameplay issues and the eventual receptiveness drag the title down a notch or two though.

Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days is definitely a fun Action-RPG for the DS, that is surprisingly charming. However, it's definitely one for the fans, and they should know that they will be re-treading a lot of old ground.

Unfortunately, most – especially pure RPG fans – will find the game is incredibly simplistic, with the actual gameplay being far too shallow, containing a basic fighting mechanic, an innovative 'magic' system and... Well, not much else.

A quick and dirty port of a current generation game is a nasty move on behalf of Activision, especially when the Xbox 360 offers much more compelling software for a similar price.
