Repetitious gameplay and confusing plot drag down what is otherwise a breathtaking audio and visual experience. Visually there is absolutely nothing else like it, which alone warrants a serious look.

Ghostbusters offers some unique gameplay, an amusing story and a lot of fun for fans. Presentation issues hold back the PlayStation 3 version, but otherwise it's the best Ghostbusters game ever.

The game play is quick and addictive which should satisfy adults, and the puzzles aren't too difficult, but still put up a challenge which should appeal to children.

A great game for the PS3, but not a great port.

Although there is still room for improvement, Warband's excellent combat system, respectable multiplayer and a lifespan that will prove to be a total timesink means that the game is well worth the USD$29.99 price tag on Steam. Fans of the action RPG genre and medieval games in general would do well to pick this one up.

Despite being a little on the easy side and not doing anything new for the genre, Wario Land: The Shake Dimension is a worthy addition in any platform game fan’s collection. There’s a variety of levels to play through, and the secondary challenges will keep you occupied for quite a while.

LEGO Indiana Jones sticks to an almost identical formula to the LEGO Star Wars games before it, but with its adventure-themed gameplay and incredibly entertaining cooperative features, the game is a solid purchase for anyone who wants to have some pure, uncomplicated fun.

As with any Ridge Racer game, this does exactly what it says on the tin. Although times have changed and the series isn’t the high profile name it used to be, if you want an old school, arcade style sliding, high-speed racing game, you need not look any further.

Fans of Tetsuya Mizguchi’s previous works such as Rez and Lumines really need to check this out, as should anyone else on the lookout for an addictive puzzle game or shoot ‘em up.

Where it lacks in revolution it success in execution. Tropico 4 represents the best qualities found in city management simulators, and is the best entry yet in a beloved franchise.

A good port of one of last years best portable games. Still probably best in handheld form, but nice on a TV as well.

The work done on the mini games has been great - the fact that they are no longer timed is brilliant, although this can lead to physical exhaustion for the unfit among us.

Top Spin 3 is a decent game with an incredible learning curve. Anyone who has the patience to stick with it will enjoy the game, but anyone who is just a casual fan of tennis games will be put off by the steep learning curve.

Miles Edgeworth provides another worthy addition in the Ace Attorney series, with plenty of charm, humour and intrigue. This spin-off isn't as different as you might imagine, but fans will eat it up.

Titan Quest is a godsend. It has been a while since we’ve played a quality action RPG, and Titan Quest fulfills our expectations perfectly. The game is deep, the combat is enjoyable, the game looks superb and there’s just so much to do. While the game borrows a few gameplay elements from Diablo II, Titan Quest does enough to feel fresh and offers enough variety to ensure that newcomers and fans of the genre will enjoy the experience.

Much better than a lot of other Ubisoft launch offerings for the 3DS, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is a great title if you're looking for a lengthy strategy game with nice mechanics.

Mega Man 9 is more than just an experiment in aesthetics or retro fan service - it's the real deal. Tough as nails, rewarding, and endlessly playable. Essential for anyone with the requisite skill or determination.

Mafia II is a superbly told, mature and adult game that will entertain, shock and blow you away time and time again.

Despite taking a bit too much Advance Wars and not building enough of its own game, Field Commander is quite enjoyable and scratches the strategy itch.

Despite being ten years old the original Banjo-Kazooie has aged remarkably well. The game is a must for anyone who loved the N64 outings or simply wants some classic platformer action.

Shadows of the Damned is more than the sum of its rough parts, a rollicking gamers' game which brims with personality and individuality amid a muddy ocean of po-faced shooters. Experience it before its relegation to the status of 'cult classic'.

The individual mechanics come together reasonably well with none being brilliant or outstanding but once you get the way that the game encourages you to play, it works out reasonably well. It's just too bad that it doesn't really hit the peaks that you'd expect.

A great football game in its own right, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 makes a number of improvements to show that the series is well on the way to a true revolution.

With all the structural changes made, Kane's Wrath is what the original Command and Conquer 3 should have been in the first place. It doesn't re-invent anything, but it polishes what was otherwise a game let down by a number of disappointing flaws.

A well rounded multiplayer extension of the classic Men of War formula, hurt most by technical issues and a steep learning curve. Worth a look for fans of the series.

Conceptually solid, interesting and potentially enjoyable, but let down by poor execution and a sense of disconnection.

Motorstorm: Apocalypse is a highly enjoyable arcade racer let down by poor presentation and a manifest lack of focus on the part of Evolution Studios, who are in danger of losing track of what made the series so appealing in the first place.

The last guy's sum is far greater than its rather simplistic parts, offering up yet another fun and entirely unique game for the PSN service.
