An idiotic, stupidly playable romp from beginning to end, with such baffling diversions you can't help but love it. [April 2006, p.72]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Football without rules equals a mess. Add some crap gameplay and annoying animations and it's a complete joke. [April 2006, p.94]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

For pure boxing realism, Fight Night Round 3 takes the crown. The way you can bust out little jabs and finish off with a crunching uppercut, or bat away a badly timed hook and follow through with a breath-stealing gut-punch is spot on. [April 2006, p.78]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Overall, though, with its fundamentally flawed handling, glitchy physics and a tendency for the game to just play itself, Sonic Riders is a huge disappointment. [April 2006, p.84]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

But if you want a staggering multiplayer fight game that looks better than anything else on Xbox 360, get this.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Respectable though its faith to the old-skool way is, it's not going to satisfy the modern gamer. If you and your three mates still adore the original arcade game you'll get a kick out of playing this prettier version, but everyone else will be snoozing within the hour.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

But at the end of the day it's intuitive and makes for a highly playable game. We just wish they'd realized that when they killed the crosshair.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

The combat isn't as good as it should be, which sadly lets down what is otherwise a solid acrobatic platformer with cunning puzzles, set in a dazzling futuristic world.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

A quality party game, so it's a real shame that the biggest new feature - the Quest mode - is so poor. And good though it is, it's only worth getting if you missed the previous one or you're an obsessive completist. [April 2006, p.86]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Surprisingly polished for a movie tie-in, this is a fun puzzle adventure let down by a dull hack-n-slash ending. [April 2006, p.87]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Presentational quibbles aside, though, this is a really good game. A bit more polish (and by 'a bit' we mean 'a lot'), a few more career options and some recognisable licensing and this could become an essential purchase for poker fans.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Playing Zathura is like being force-fed Saddam Hussein's skid-marked underpants. And we find that kind of thing really upsetting.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

A functional if predictable four-player beat 'em up. Does everything you'd expect from a Turtles game, but nothing more. [April 2006, p.88]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

A jaunty, fairly interesting collection of mini-games, but it's been done better a hundred times before. [April 2006, p.89]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

A poor excuse of an FPS makes for an adequate, if pointless, adaptation of a sport better experienced in the real world. [April 2006, p.92]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Alright by budget standards, but with dodgy controls, cheap AI and buggy Live modes there are far better alternatives. [Aug 2006, p.70]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

It's cheap, but so is Jodie Marsh and we wouldn't shuffle her deck with yours. [April 2006, p.93]- Official Xbox Magazine UK

It's tempting to praise Oxygen for tackling the tricky job of turning this pub sport into an enjoyable videogame but instead, all Oxygen proves is why darts is better off as a novelty mini-game rather than the main attraction.- Official Xbox Magazine UK

Superstars V8 Racing is a decent and, at times, surprisingly pretty racer, and while it's never going to blow GRID's graphics or Race Pro's handling out of the water, it does conjure up happy memories of classic Codies TOCA games. Here's hoping by next year, Milestone has mastered the art of a more immersive career mode.- Official Xbox Magazine UK
