You'll never catch me playing this game in the arcades but having DDR on my Xbox ready to humiliate myself in the privacy of my own home is undeniable fun.
-
If you don't care as much about getting really into the dancing however, the basic pad is just fine.
-
Pelit (Finland)A splendid dancing game although the new hit songs mostly suck and some the other songs have been recycled over and over again. Plus there are not that many new ideas compared to Unleashed 2. [Apr 2006]
-
If you're still charmed in the slightest by the Dance Dance Revolution franchise, then Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 will likely put a big grin on your face, and if you're anything like me, it'll complement those unstylish dance moves just fine.
-
Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3 incorporates a bunch of new modes and switches up the songlist, but for many less-than-expert players will seem a little too similar to previous games.
-
A bigger pad would help in the future. The other problem is the selection of game modes to choose from.
-
This is certainly a solid addition to the series, but overall it's hardly worth upgrading from the previous outing.

NickB.May 13, 2006The quset mode is great, adn all the new modes and stuff are cool, but I would have liked to see a better song list. Its a bit too Ghetto.
