Presentational quibbles aside, though, this is a really good game. A bit more polish (and by 'a bit' we mean 'a lot'), a few more career options and some recognisable licensing and this could become an essential purchase for poker fans.

Playing Zathura is like being force-fed Saddam Hussein's skid-marked underpants. And we find that kind of thing really upsetting.

A functional if predictable four-player beat 'em up. Does everything you'd expect from a Turtles game, but nothing more. [April 2006, p.88]

A jaunty, fairly interesting collection of mini-games, but it's been done better a hundred times before. [April 2006, p.89]

A poor excuse of an FPS makes for an adequate, if pointless, adaptation of a sport better experienced in the real world. [April 2006, p.92]

Alright by budget standards, but with dodgy controls, cheap AI and buggy Live modes there are far better alternatives. [Aug 2006, p.70]

It's cheap, but so is Jodie Marsh and we wouldn't shuffle her deck with yours. [April 2006, p.93]

A basic-yet-endearing trip down memory lane. Don't bother if you owned these games in a past life, though. [April 2006, p.92]

A brave attempt at making an epic experience, but it was never going to be the game it so desperately wanted to be. [April 2006, p.90]

You'd be a Raven lunatic to buy it. [Oct 2009, p.90]

It's tempting to praise Oxygen for tackling the tricky job of turning this pub sport into an enjoyable videogame but instead, all Oxygen proves is why darts is better off as a novelty mini-game rather than the main attraction.

Superstars V8 Racing is a decent and, at times, surprisingly pretty racer, and while it's never going to blow GRID's graphics or Race Pro's handling out of the water, it does conjure up happy memories of classic Codies TOCA games. Here's hoping by next year, Milestone has mastered the art of a more immersive career mode.
