Existing fans of the franchise will be head over heels for Birth by Sleep. Everything you love is here with new twists and turns, and this is ironically the longest game in the series. It may even be the best game in the series so far.

If anything, Ace Armstrong vs. the Alien Scumbags! serves best as an example of how not to make a shooter.

While the Wiimote changes may irritate some, what I do like is that the game designers are still exploring the medium, still trying to work out interesting methods to give players more ways to interact with the environment. And it is this willingness to break the mold, to not stick with the formula, that makes Other M such an interesting addition to the Metroid family.

If you are even remotely interested in tactical, turn-based RPGs and you have a PlayStation Portable, you simply need to buy this game.

Mafia 2 is a fun game, with a stellar environment.

Granted, there is plenty of action, a LOT of shooting things and a stylish flair to the presentation of the game. But with the dodgy controls and often distracting visuals most people would be happy with a rental over a weekend for this one.

With simpler play calling, more online options, plenty of in-game advertising and a ton of ways to spend your hard-earned cash, the game manages to make it easier for new players to get into, while still catering to its veteran fans.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game is also incredibly good value.

It's the tracks themselves that are the star.

Bang for buck? Check. Killer gameplay? Check. Loads of options? Check. Story, sound, presentation? All awesome. It even has a "casual" difficulty level. What's not to like? Screw 2010 - StarCraft II is the best RTS game released in YEARS and one of the best games on PC full stop. If you like gaming at all, you owe it to yourself to check this out. The ultimate RTS has arrived.

Overall, while Limbo's back-story is strangely absent, it can stand on the unique visual style and deceptively difficult platforming/puzzle gameplay alone.

The simple, bold graphics, tailored for smaller screens, look fine on the living room telly and the soundtrack is not obtrusive or distracting.

DeathSpank is fun to play, funny to watch and it allows a second player to jump in at any time and assist by playing sparkles the incredibly camp magical elf. What's not to love?

There's nothing really special to report in terms of the controls.

One of the best things about Crackdown is that it wastes no time in throwing players deep into the action.

In the end, Leliana's Song is too short and adds nothing in terms of gameplay. If you want more gameplay, more spells and raised caps then there are other expansions, modules and campaigns out there at a higher price. However, I did enjoy Leliana's Song.

An extremely solid action thriller that Activision probably should be more loud and proud about.

It's easy to recommend this game if you're a) a fan of the series, b) a fan of Lego titles, c) have children, or some combination of all those things.

All in all, a very average sort of an action-adventure game.

There really is something here for everyone. This is essentially a much more polished version of the game released on the PlayStation 2 a few years ago, and a good step up for those that still love Mario Tennis.

As an action game, this can't contend with the top dogs in the genre, but that's a moot point, because it isn't just an action game. It's a Transformers game. And Transformers: War for Cybertron is better than anything else we've seen from the license before.

You’ll get a fantastic selection of Shakespeare’s plays, the complete works of Jane Austin, adventure stories like Treasure Island and The Last of the Mohicans. Dickens is in there, two of the Brontes, Eliot, Twain, Henry James… you won’t get bored quickly, because there’s a book for every taste and mood. That is, unless you shun the classics.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 does not struggle. It's a great game with just the one perennial problem. If you bought last year's version, or any from the last three or four years, you don't need this.
