A shotgun barrel of fun. There really is so much to do and so little time to do it. You'll hardly ever get bored of running around torturing zombies with all manners of sadistic, man-made equipment.- NZGamer

So, a few control and camea issues aside, and putting aside also the lack of replayability (this is a a game you'll probably play through twice at the most) Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a solidly written, very entertaining, occasionally heart-racing adventure.- NZGamer

There is little doubt that many fans have been calling for this kind of Sonic the Hedgehog game for a long time. If you are one of them, it'll leave you happily wallowing in nostalgic bliss. Or, if you're like me, the frustrations and the annoying bloody music may just be enough to convince you to give up on the whole retro gaming thing for good.- NZGamer

I found Wii Party to be pretty average in terms of presentation, though I did enjoy the different costumes for the Miis in each game, as well as some pretty convincing animations when someone wins or loses.- NZGamer

For fans of Bayonetta and those who found Gears of War a bit too slow and clunky, Vanquish is definitely going to please.- NZGamer

There isn't a huge amount to keep you coming back, so this game is going to be most popular among kids who go straight for the box, collectors who have to have everything with Pikachu's face on it, and video game journalists who give it 5.8 out of 10 and almost feel bad about it.- NZGamer

It's the perfect start to what I can only hope is a series, with all of the fundamental components executed very well indeed. With a few additions (most importantly, some way to share your work) this could even become a tool for teachers to leverage or the basis of a new online community.- NZGamer

Between sniper missions, marking targets for air support, gunning from choppers, warming your knife, close combat and laying suppression from a distance, MoH should deliver everything shooter fans are looking for.- NZGamer

A worthy experience, thanks in no small part to the sense of urgency that comes from the story being plucked straight from the world's headlines.- NZGamer

Although the puzzles are simplistic, and occasionally frustrating, they won't stop the hardened Castlevania fan. The impressive vistas, detailed cutscenes and huge bosses will keep players hooked.- NZGamer

Perfect if you're looking for some disengaged-brain carnage. The characters look great, have some interesting moves, and you might even learn something while you play. As long as you don't approach the game expecting a real strategic challenge, with complex fight combinations, there's no reason not to check this one out.- NZGamer

FIFA 11 is big. It's packed to the brim with virtual football action, all of it bigger and better in some way than last year's version.- NZGamer

The play modes don't introduce anything broadly new, and the quest mode hasn't been executed to its full potential. However, it's still a decent addition to the collection, and the singleplayer and band modes work seamlessly.- NZGamer

It's only the poor provision for mech-fans in recent years that hold this game's score up to a respectable level so if you don't count yourself in their number, you're probably best advised to avoid this one.- NZGamer

If you want tough, technical races where you'll get disqualified for cutting corners and time penalties for driving recklessly; if you want long races where it might take two or three laps to set up one passing manoeuvre; if what you want is a great racing sim; then, yes. F1 2010 has been well worth the wait.- NZGamer

For the most hardcore Civ addicts out there, some of the changes may be a little unfamiliar. But Civilization V retains the ethos of this iconic series, while modernising, simplifying and improving both its look and its feel.- NZGamer

The real kicker to this title, however, is its cliffhanger ending (after all, this is only Episode 1 of what I presume will be at least a three- or four-part series) which is more frustrating than tantalising.- NZGamer

So should you buy it? If you like Halo, it's a resounding yes - this is the best Halo ever (even if it is - by far - the hardest). If you like multiplayer first-person shooters, it's an "almost definitely" (fans of realistic shooters need not apply). If you want the world's most polished single player experience? A less enthusiastic response is appropriate.- NZGamer

Tumble certainly has its flaws but for under $20, it isn't going to break the bank either. Those hoping for the fun times had with Boom Blox will be disappointed, but Tumble is definitely for more serious puzzle gamers.- NZGamer

This is the game to get if you're set on buying a Move controller or two. It's a shame that we couldn't have more involved experiences at launch, but Sports Champions should tide you over until the mythical bunch of 'second generation' Move games arrive.- NZGamer

At around $60, Start the Party is more of a game to show off what your new camera and motion controller can do to easily astounded guests. It could be good to rent, but to buy? Maybe when it hits the bargain bins.- NZGamer
