All up, while Tetris itself isn't new by any stretch of the imagination, there are enough other new gameplay variations, as well as multiplayer modes, to make this a solid addition to any gamer's collection – and a must-have for puzzle fans.- NZGamer

It just doesn't do it well, either. To fail at the core of motion controlled gameplay at this stage in the Wii's lifespan is hard to accept.- NZGamer

While the overall feel is perhaps best described as a bit rough around the edges, we have to remember that this is a mini after all, and the price reflects that.- NZGamer

This game is a great use of the Wii's technology, and combined with Disney characters, art and music themes we know and love, this is a charming game, and it's not too cutesy for the older kids in your family - although your emo teenager will probably turn their pierced nose up at it.- NZGamer

With all this hype, generated as a result of the repeated brilliance demonstrated by the developers themselves in the first place, we were expecting something... more. A lot of its flaws are, at the end of the day, skin deep - and they won't stop people from enjoying the rich experience that the Gran Turismo mode represents.- NZGamer

And that's really about it. Like Wii Sports, you will probably have a lot of fun while the Kinect technology is still new and exciting, but after that wears off, you'll only bring this one out for parties or over-energetic kids.- NZGamer

But if you're looking for a modern Sonic game which stays faithful to its roots, is fun to play and is a worthy title on its own merits, look no further. Finally, Sonic Colors is that game we've been waiting for.- NZGamer

A blueprint of how Kinect games should be made. It combines a solid and reliable implementation of the tech with enough gameplay meat to keep you coming back after the novelty wears off.- NZGamer

Like Wii Sports, you will soon tire of the activities on display. It'll remain a fun option to bust out at parties or when you have kids over, but it's not a deep experience - at least, not for those who don't want to leap around like crazy for hours and hours on end.- NZGamer

There is a stack of gameplay here, both in the singleplayer story (which is heavily connected to Assassin's Creed II) and in the multiplayer, which is a series first.- NZGamer

Maybe EA Games could rename Part 2 "Harry Potter and the Multiple Revenue Streams". Because if we are going to be honest, that's all this title really is.- NZGamer

Disappointing. But, I know a twelve-year-old fan of the series who absolutely loved it - for a couple of hours, at least, until they hit a big difficulty spike and went back to watching Naruto and Deltora Quest on the Cartoon Network. And that's probably how it will end for all of us.- NZGamer

It may sound like a bit of a mish-mash, but in many ways Late Night feels more 'together' than Ambitions (though not as all-encompassingly new as World Adventures), with the expansion gently prodding us back to more open-ended gameplay.- NZGamer

While the Console Sims 3 paints its picture with broader brushstrokes than its PC counterpart, it still captures all that's great about this series. The customisation, irreverent humour, bizarre character creation options, and online exchange features are all here, with good design and time-suckingly great gameplay.- NZGamer

While it lacks in a few areas, Smackdown vs Raw 2011 has raised the bar with the unpredictable WWE Universe mode, Road to WrestleMania and Match Creation system. This is like a sandbox wrestling title; the WWE is your playground, do with it what you will.- NZGamer

But it could have been so much better if this game was FIFA: Hit the Streets - licensed teams and names with all the effort put into a killer arcade mode. The half-and-half version is a bit of a nil-all-draw on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon.- NZGamer

Carnage aside, Dead Nation also looks fantastic. There's a great amount of variety in the zombies themselves, the lighting and artwork are lovely, and there's a kicking soundtrack to boot (I could have done without so much heavy breathing though).- NZGamer

If you're at all interested in sports, have a Wii and have mates over for multiplayer sessions (which is where NBA Jam truly shines) you just have to get this. Highly recommended - bring on Cricket Jam or Rugby League Jam!- NZGamer

Despite all of these comments and my own personal opinion, this review isn't telling you what football game to buy this year. Both FIFA '11 and PES 2011 are completely different games and play to their own strengths and weaknesses.- NZGamer

But this is one instance where, despite the glitches, I genuinely didn't care. New Vegas is just way too much fun. It's got everything in a game that I love, from a huge open world to explore, interesting characters to meet, challenging critters to fight, an awesome environment, great soundtrack and bloody mayhem.- NZGamer

The Association shows great statistical depth and nice opposing management AI, and My Player provides a long and in-depth journey from proving yourself in the combines, to the draft, and eventually to press conferences, playoffs and stardom.- NZGamer
