For those who can't get enough, Liberation is a handy portable companion to Assassin's Creed III, but it is definitely a lighter experience both in physical form and in terms of content.- NZGamer

Wii Sports Resort perhaps doesn't go as far as a good sequel should, but it's still - yes, yes - damned good fun.- NZGamer

Magic: The Gathering is a great game and Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 does a great job of bringing that experience into the virtual space – even if it's in a somewhat simplified form.- NZGamer

Overall, this is a solid, if not utterly spectacular, adventure game carefully wrapped up with a beloved license.- NZGamer

This is the best version of the game, without a doubt, but it’s the best version of a game that is still, at it’s core, good without ever crossing the threshold into great.- NZGamer

So, Gunscape isn’t another Minecraft. It’s a game for fans of old-school first person shooters.- NZGamer

Sure, it's hardly pretty and the chances are good you've never heard of it, but if you're hankering for a solid fighting game and don't have the wherewithal to import BlazBlue, you could do much worse than this.- NZGamer

Driveclub Bikes is a solid DLC. When promised extra content starts pouring in, like the trophies and unusable cars, there’s no telling how much better Driveclub Bikes might get.- NZGamer

Despite its faults, I really like Revenant Rising. It's a meld of gaming and literature that we haven't seen for a while, and that I found I've missed.- NZGamer

In a way, Megamagic: Wizards of the Neon Age is like a Saturday morning cartoon. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s charming and special nonetheless.- NZGamer

If you’re really into the roguelike genre, you’ll enjoy this game. I can’t claim to have been blown away by it, but there were certainly some very cool moments during my playthrough and as this game won’t set you back a huge amount on Steam anyway, if you’re craving some retro, sci-fi action, you could do worse than Sword of the Stars: The Pit.- NZGamer

A fun reason to jump back into Deus Ex, but not necessarily worth dropping coin for the Season Pass.- NZGamer

Personally I’m afraid that Flock’s gameplay quirks will harm the experience for many gamers. I didn’t find them game-wrecking by any stretch of the imagination, but there will be some people who will throw their hands up in despair.- NZGamer

EA have a vested interest in seeing the NBA Live franchise land at the top of the basketball simulation sub-genre. While this year's iteration doesn’t quite get there, they’ve made a big enough leap for people to take notice, especially given the much lower price point than NBA 2K18.- NZGamer

If you know what you're letting yourself in for, go for it. It's a pocketable version of a minigame, with online play, and 3D that doesn't need glasses. It's honestly little more than that.- NZGamer

Unfortunately, the lack of multiplayer really lets the title down in overall value, but the campaign is enjoyable (bar some rough voice acting and gameplay quirks), and will take you a good 20-30 hours to complete.- NZGamer

Despite all of these comments and my own personal opinion, this review isn't telling you what football game to buy this year. Both FIFA '11 and PES 2011 are completely different games and play to their own strengths and weaknesses.- NZGamer

Whatever you do, don’t just play the first 10 minutes of it. You’ll be utterly disappointed and will immediately wish you purchased another game. The biggest issue many will face is that there is no clear objective, and not a lot else to do other than walk around. But if you do play this, you’re going to need to stay committed - otherwise you’ll end up throwing your Vita against the wall.- NZGamer
