Still, for $10 US on Steam, Fortix 2 is a good 'un, definitely worth adding to the collection.- NZGamer

A good game, but one that requires tactical patience and some skill. A very hard game to play solo, but certainly with a partner or a whole squad of mates it's far more enjoyable, and in some ways more doable.- NZGamer

A big bonus to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed is that up to ten players race against each other online, either in arena game modes or your usual races.- NZGamer

It may not be at the top of your play list in the long term, but as an ensemble it's well worth a look - particularly if you have a fondness for the various included Nintendo franchises.- NZGamer

Overall Shadow of the Beast a pretty good platformer with nothing much to hate about it. It’s a good time killer.- NZGamer

In the end, The Godfather II has the recipe for an excellent game filled with action, mindless violence, great characters and strategic thought. But you just can’t help but shake the feeling that it doesn’t quite feel 100% finished.- NZGamer

A decent entry into the Halo franchise. It trades in the grand scope of the original games for some bite sized pieces of action that fit the mobile platform well. There are some control quirks which are annoying, but don’t go as far as ruining the experience. All in all, it’s well worth the $8.99 asking price.- NZGamer

Overall, for Fable fans, the story alone is worth the purchase, and Fable: The Journey is easily the most extensive Kinect title to date. But it is a very different experience to the usual RPG, and while the Kinect does a good job, it's not spectacular, and you may have to be prepared to fiddle around with your living room setup and lighting to get the best out of it.- NZGamer

With highly polished graphics and music which is unlikely but suits the game to a tea, The Maw certainly is a lot more polished than your average Live title. The levels themselves are a little plain, but some of the animations and scenarios you come across keep you wondering what’s around the next corner.- NZGamer

The combat is fast, frantic and fun, requiring you to think and move quickly, and each of the classes are very different to play. Sure there's not much variety in the type of bad guys you come up against but the enemies which are present are generally very nice to look at and very satisfying to obliterate with your weapon of choice. It's easily the best action RPG on the 360 and arguably the best on any of the modern consoles.- NZGamer

In the end, this is a game that will attract its share of fans for what it does do well - namely, transplant some Call of Duty elements into a more horror-like setting with some novel multiplayer modes. But that phrase, "horror-like", also works in another way: it has the appearance of being a worthy sequel to the atmospheric, creepy Fear games, but in the end it's a mere shadow.- NZGamer

I still find it refreshing that in a time where so many games assume the "more is more" addage, there are still a lot of thoughtful games out there that take their time to build atmosphere and story, and give players a bit of pondering time, rather than relying on reflexes (or frequent use of the autosave function). Gray Matter is definitely one of these games.- NZGamer

Madballs may not be the flashiest, most original game on Xbox Live, but it's certainly the ballsiest. Seriously though, the single player game is a decent playthrough that gets better with a couple more players.- NZGamer

While I like my shooters, and I enjoyed playing The Devil’s Cartel for what it was, there is nothing there to set it apart from all the others on the market. It’s violent, fast paced, looks fine, and plays okay. But you can’t hi-five in the game anymore. Maybe that’s because when they finished making it EA decided there wasn’t any reason for a hi-five.- NZGamer

As lovely as Alice: Madness Returns is (and if you've not seen any screenshots, Madness Returns is a very good looking game), it can also be horridly repetitive, and there's a same-ness about subsequent levels, in that they, and the baddies that people them, don't feel as if they get any more challenging as you go along.- NZGamer

DiRT Showdown does a great job of bringing an action packed racing experience to the living room - but it won't appeal to gamers looking for that rallying sim. Additionally it isn't focused on a racing career, such as the previous titles have been. But if that still sounds appealing, you won't be disappointed....give it a try.- NZGamer

Rather than stretching to make a multi-bajillion dollar, true-to-life racing simulation, Sidhe have focused their efforts on producing a rather cute, well-designed, simple puzzle/platform racer and the awards speak for themselves.- NZGamer
