Commentators aside, some of what Big Ant did well in the original game gets a bit lost in its second season. buried under the weight of the options and menus. But, you can still smash it like the Big Bash and IPL, if that’s what you’re after. Or, you can go all village green on the game. It’s slow, deliberate, complicated and, without any cynicism, that may be the best thing about Don Bradman Cricket 17.- NZGamer

This isn't a game that will convince non-golfers to take up the sport, whether virtually or otherwise, but if you're a fan and need a golfing fix on the go, you can do a lot worse than Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 for the iPad.- NZGamer

While its simple presentation lends itself more towards phones than 50 inch flat-screens, it's a clever little game that puzzlers will love and gamers everywhere might find something to like. And it might even get passed uncut in Australia.- NZGamer

You get a straight port of Doom and Doom II, a nicely polished up HD version of Doom 3, and a chance to send a whole lot of monsters to hell. It's Doom. Marine, grab the biggest freakin' gun you can find and follow me.- NZGamer

Rugby League is a simple game. If you want to maintain a winning record, focus on rucking it up hard, holding on to the ball, and kicking deep. And avoid playing me online. It’s not worth it.- NZGamer

While a couple of the games are downright boring, and a few frustratingly difficult, most do definitely have an interesting X-factor about them; even if they're ultimately hamstrung by a lack of polish.- NZGamer

For those who like their adventures on the darker, twisted - but still humorous side, Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes might just tickle your fancy. A worthy successor to the original.- NZGamer

This is a well thought out game with a huge amount of complexity. Unfortunately the steep learning curve means the ladder to the top looks almost impossible to climb when you first begin.- NZGamer

What changes you do find in Tiger Woods 08 are positive; however, it’s just the fact that there is more polish needed to make this title really stand out.- NZGamer

Rogue is not one of the best in the series, in fact I’d put it pretty low on the pole. But they did give it a good try and there’s hope for more intricate gameplay in the future, though this is certainly the last AC game developed for the previous gen consoles.- NZGamer

While I’ve been on the verge of giving the game the people’s elbow, especially sitting through the long load times and when I lost a match because I couldn’t tag back into a tag team match; it’s a ‘tag’ team match, and I couldn’t figure out how to ‘tag’. It’s in the bloody stupid title. But, I’m going to keep playing. I love all the bluster, all the blood, and I want to eventually get a win by submission.- NZGamer

A competent helicopter simulator. It will most certainly push some gamer's buttons and become a well loved addition to their military combat collection. But I'm not sure how large that market is.- NZGamer

Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 simply repeats a lot of the mistakes of its predecessor and proves that it wasn’t just the escort missions holding Uzumaki Chronicles back: it was an overall flawed design.- NZGamer

Thief isn’t terrible, it’s just not as good as other games, so in a way I want to say leave Thief for a while; come back to it when it’s on sale, wait for it to be a steal.- NZGamer

It’s a beautiful game to watch, but so insanely frustrating to play single player that you wouldn’t care if the game was hand-drawn by a mermaid riding a gold unicorn. The multiplayer co-op adds a lot more playability but usually multiplayer features like this should add to the solo experience, not justify it.- NZGamer

The game crashes. I mean, it crashes a lot. Oh, you finished a level? Let’s return you to the Xbox home screen. You’re loading a new level? There you go, back looking at your pins. Oh, you’re on the last shot of an extremely difficult level that you’ve been trying to conquer for more than an hour? LOL, SEEYA.- NZGamer
