Surprisingly one-dimensional in gameplay. The accelerator is the key to winning. I never caught on to the fun experience of the racing or strategy, if there is any in the game.- Nintendophiles

The courses don’t strike me as highly creative, and there aren’t any things like shortcuts. Tube Slider isn’t an impressive game, but there is still quality that can be found in it.- Nintendophiles

The straightforward nature of the levels begs for more openness, which isn't available. It was fun while it lasted, but even that wasn't that long.- Nintendophiles

It's the same thing that has been on a couple of different consoles. If you only played the original Code: Veronica, the only thing that X offers you is some new storyline elements and a few extra cut-scenes. However, if you've never played this game before, you should really give it a shot.- Nintendophiles

While the gameplay was addicting and fun, the graphics and sound are where the games problems come in.- Nintendophiles

If not for the accursed password system, the wonky controls, and collecting, I would've said, "Great job."- Nintendophiles

There are some noticeable flaws in the every department. For instance, in arcade mode there's one hard fighter and all the rest are fairly easy – I would have enjoyed more balance.- Nintendophiles

The presentation and effort are very respectable. The music is some of the best ever, but the gameplay is slow and highly un-original and sometimes downright stupid.- Nintendophiles

A short game. It has its flaws, but it can be an enjoyable title, if only for a little while, and the price is a little cheaper than other titles coming out this holiday season.- Nintendophiles

And while playing with another person is a little livelier, the atrocious camera will soon make things more frustrating than fun.- Nintendophiles

If you pick up Kirby Air Ride expecting a great racing experience, you're not going to find it, go buy "F-Zero GX." The level themes seem more like platformer worlds than racing environments.- Nintendophiles

Gameplay is mildly entertaining at times, but gets repetitive quite often, and the clumsy controls are a pain to deal with, especially when precise jumps is required.- Nintendophiles

Not the greatest adventure experience, and some shoddy controls make platforming sections a real nuisance.- Nintendophiles

The game mechanics are fairly simple and the controls respond well enough; though I did find the dash ability a tad sensitive, often dashing into a bottomless pit when my intention was just to jump over them. All the levels are a simple “make your way from left to right” fare where you are occasionally locked within a screen-width section of the level and must kill a set number of enemies before progressing.- Nintendophiles

Right now, I don’t see any point in buying a couple of mediocre Genesis titles, and "Sonic Spinball" can be found for the Genesis for less than ten bucks.- Nintendophiles

Star X had a lot of promise – the game opened up superbly. But as the game went on – with twenty-three levels in all, I just didn’t feel like going on.- Nintendophiles

A mediocre fighting game. The unique battle system simply does not make up for the short and simple gameplay.- Nintendophiles

For the short time it lasts the game is a lot of fun and harkens back to the days of the classic 2D side-scrolling games.- Nintendophiles

With a high sense of speed, and a wide variety of gameplay, for the first time racing feels appropriate for the handheld scene. Aside from some frustrating traffic and driving issues, the graphics, controls, style and use of touch screen really brings out the best in this oft-mediocre driving series.- Nintendophiles

It’s simple enough to come back to and won’t boggle you down with controls, but at the same time if you play long enough you’ll become bored.- Nintendophiles

A game that has aged and rusted, some visual and technical enhancements would have raised the game value.- Nintendophiles

To be blunt, if you played this game to death on the Super Nintendo, there really is no convincing reason to revisit it on the GBA. The bonus levels don't give it enough of a rationale to verify a purchase. With no multiplayer and literally no replay value, you'll be done with this game within a day if you try.- Nintendophiles

Combine the lack of utilization of the DS’ unique capabilities and any improvements over the original with sloppy graphics, horrid controls, and a dreadful save feature, and the Rayman name begins a steady decline into mediocrity with this title.- Nintendophiles

Though it lacks certain technical aspects that hard-core driving gamers may have come to expect, City Racer offers players from all walks of gaming genre a very inviting, as well as forgiving, chance to join in the video driving scene – a claim of which very few racers out there can boast.- Nintendophiles
