Without sugarcoating it, Comic Workshop 2 is nearly identical to the original Comic Workshop application that released just under a year ago. There are a few minor tweaks that optimize the overall package, including the notable ability to post your creations to Miiverse, but it hardly feels like a completely new release.- Nintendo Life

If you've got enough patience you'll probably be able to mine for the diamonds in the rough - but the easily frustrated should steer far clear.- Nintendo Life

The clunky and generic presentation feels both lazy and uninspired, making this one we'd suggest you pass on.- Nintendo Life

Funk of Titans wants to draw players in with an outlandish, seemingly arbitrary aesthetic that mixes Greek mythology with funk music. Unfortunately, it fails to go all the way with this theme, and ends up a tedious and surprisingly generic auto-runner.- Nintendo Life

It's accomplished platforming within Yoshi's quirky and unique template, and has enough soft cuteness to charm young gamers and melt the hearts of the most jaded of veteran gamers.- Nintendo Life

This game is perfectly functional and harmless, but that's not enough to give it a recommendation, especially when there are Flash games with more depth.- Nintendo Life

At the end of the day, though, this is the best sandbox game on the Wii U yet, and fans looking to get their fix need to look no further.- Nintendo Life

Featuring three different game modes from throughout the franchise's history, as well as preset scenarios to clear and online multiplayer, this is easily the most packed Dr. Mario game yet.- Nintendo Life

Within its solid and increasingly arduous heart of survival and exploration, Don't Starve: Giant Edition beats with a personality head and shoulders above the hoard of Minecraft clones out there.- Nintendo Life

Vector Assault is another eShop game that struggles to deliver the level of polish and quality perhaps expected on a Nintendo console. Coming off more like a prototype, we have trouble commending a game just because it works - it's hard to recommend Vector Assault when there are better options available elsewhere.- Nintendo Life

At the end of the day, there's not much especially wrong with Fullblast. It plays fine, looks quite nice and even with its minor flaws it's a pretty fun little game.- Nintendo Life

The absence of features such as an acceptable draw distance, NPCs, a useful crafting system - and much more besides - makes Stone Shire feel like a rushed and unfinished demo of a better game.- Nintendo Life

Swords & Soldiers II is the sequel that the WiiWare classic truly deserves, and it represents a new-gen upgrade that shines as an example of genuine quality on the eShop.- Nintendo Life

Although a lack of levels and some presentational hiccups prevent this from becoming an outright classic, Ultratron's positive points outweigh its negatives, and warrants a look from anyone looking for an arcade shooter that manages to merge the best of old and new.- Nintendo Life

This is a fun puzzler that continues the superb work of its predecessors, although there could have and should have been more free to play levels to give potential players a little more incentive to purchase those packs. That said, fans of the concept and puzzle games in general should consider treating this like its predecessors - a stand-out puzzle experience.- Nintendo Life

Coming to a suitable conclusion on 3D Thunder Blade is a difficult proposition; on one hand it's clearly the best of the 3D Classics on a technical level, but on the other hand the source material wasn't a particularly top-notch game to begin with.- Nintendo Life

Yes, it's unoriginal, but Bloo Kid always has a smile on his face while jumping on those generic enemies and at least the inspiration is coming from the right places. Give him a chance, he's trying his best.- Nintendo Life

We've seen a lot of budget-priced titles on the Nintendo eShop over the course of its near four-year history, but few games have proven their worth even at the lowest prices. Runny Egg can be added to the list of exceptions, providing a cheery and addictive little diversion with surprisingly open level design and a good sense of humour.- Nintendo Life

The Super Mario mode isn't as enjoyable as the main game; it's a nice change of scenery if you become bored with overgrown lizards parading in front of you, but it's best to stick with Puzzle & Dragons Z for the most part.- Nintendo Life
