I fretted about the severe lack of resolution in this intentionally overpixelated world, but that ended up not being much of a problem -- items and characters are difficult to discern when they're built with fewer pixels than Mario got back in 1985, but the vibe works overall. All of my kids have enjoyed being backseat drivers, telling me where to go next and which Bugsnax to try to attack.
