Xenoraid produces a feeling of excitement and balances it out with an almost somber, hypnotic feel as you fly through the black clutches of space grinding away. Its simplistic nature probably won’t lead to many binge sessions, but for quick pick-up-and play action, it does the job well enough.

Please Fix The Road is an often challenging puzzle game that sticks to its stringent design, without too many bells and whistles, and should appeal to some players looking for a rather specific puzzle design experience.

Streets of Rage 4 is both a sequel and a throwback to the original 2D brawler series. The gameplay has been tweaked and the presentation updated for the modern day, but it’s still an unabashedly retro experience that will appeal to a select few.

This may not be the best classic revival around, but Road Redemption is a lot of fun with a pretty well implemented roguelike system. The inclusion of multiplayer is also sure to make this a great party game for some like-minded friends.

With more interaction and better player choice, The Walking Dead: The Final Season might have transcended its predecessors. But as it stands, Clem’s adequate goodbye is aided by strong characters, long episodes, and apt nostalgia.

Road 96 is an engaging and timely adventure, but the title's poor performance on the Nintendo Switch makes it a rougher go than it should be.

Attentat 1942 provides an insightful history lesson into the events of the Czechoslovakian occupation, while its cinematic interviews prove a crucial gateway into understanding the impact those events had on human life. It doesn’t provide the interactivity of Her Story or This War of Mine, but it’s pleasing to see the game format being used to educate.

Nidhogg 2 is a solid multi-player title that is bogged down by a handful of issues. The online play is currently a mess, the single player is lackluster at best and the new weapons do more harm than good. It’s a testament to how rock solid the gameplay is, though, that the title is still worth checking out if you have friends willing to embrace its weirdness. For now, I’ll stick with the original, though.

JYDGE is a competently made shooter that can be a ton of fun to play. However, due to poor presentation and limiting mission structure, it doesn’t quite reach the upper echelon of the genre.

Cozy Grove accomplishes what it sets out to do. That is, to provide a charming respite from the troubles of the world. The addicting loop of the island will keep me coming back, even if I don't necessarily love all aspects of the title.
