Summon Night: Twin Age doesn't really take any new steps to advance the action RPG genre. Instead, it builds off of gameplay techniques that have been created in past games, creating an enjoyable but slightly used feeling.

Some of the puzzles do take some thought and occasionally some wild guesswork to complete, but apart from one or two tough spots the game is a must buy for anyone who likes point and click adventure games.

The quirky sounds you can add to your bongos are a humorous touch and should be good for a few laughs.

I must say that while it doesn't even approach gaming's Pantheon of Gods nor does it really aspire to do as much, it does succeed as a pure action gaming experience.

Yes, it's strange to be able to damage cops but not have a scratch even when they hit harder than Ike Turner.

This is a solid game, but there isn't much in the way of innovation here that I can see apart from the obvious graphical improvements.

This title is pretty much just a straight forward JRPG. Fans of the genre will enjoy their time with this title while others might want to look elsewhere.

All this being said, The Bourne Conspiracy is definitely worthy of a rental for fans of action games. It’s a short game that pretty much does what it sets out to do, which is entertain.

Despite some hiccups in the hit detection, the annoying commentator, and no reload button, Silent Scope is a good game. The story mode seems short at first, but soon a whole new mission will be unlocked.

Red Faction Guerrilla is an entertaining game, without question. There are just a few elements that prevent this game from becoming great.

If you're looking for a serious fighting game, check out Guilty Gear Judgment, Street Figher Alpha and the upcoming SNK titles. But if you just want some fun, this is worth trying out.

A thoroughly enjoyable game, but it’s not going to turn the RTS genre on its ear.

Without a doubt, the Nintendo DS is an amazing new piece of hardware. It is just a shame that Nintendo has a port for their launch game. Plus, the game does not even use some of the system’s specialties like the microphone.

Super Mario All-Stars is undeniably a shameless attempt to make money from old games on Nintendo's part, but it is an enjoyable and fun shot at gamers' wallets that's held up well in the 25 years since the debut of Super Mario Bros.

Dementium is a respectable game. However, it seems that for every step in the right direction this game takes, it takes one back as well. But even with all the flaws that this game has, it is still an entertaining DS experience.

If you haven’t played Lumines before, Lumines II is a great place to jump in, especially because of that extremely attractive $20 price point for a very entertaining puzzle game.

It's a well done RTS game, but it's still an RTS game at it's core. You build a base, you defeat the enemy, and you move on to the next. You fight on land, you fight on sea.
