Fastar! is an action RPG with an original kind of enemies, never seen before: squares. The RPG elements are very simple but the fighting against the different squares is more difficult than it can appear.

PGA Tour 2K25 is a solid golf game that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Its key strengths lie in the granularity of customization options, highly adjustable difficulty settings, robust simulation mechanics, and a course editor that could literally make the experience endless. However, its fairly standard gameplay, limited roster of golfers, unremarkable technical presentation, and a few too many bugs put a slight damper on what is otherwise a compelling experience for golf enthusiasts. While it may not dazzle with innovation, it remains a satisfying choice for fans of the sport.

Gameloft keeps with the copy & paste philosophy with a nice Castlevania clone, deeply lacking in personality but with a good gameplay and some pretty nice graphics.

Redout 2 is designed for hardcore gamers, who will be able to reach satisfactions thanks to the improvement of physics and the implementation of a control system which, despite being complex, allow to master all the necessary movements. The offer is much richer and has tangible visual improvements, even if some aspects deserve to be refined. All the newbies are warned: Redout 2 is difficult and far from accessible.

Queen's Crown starts exceedingly well, showing off a brilliant gameplay and a fascinating scenario, but does not fully live up to this great expectations... and overall it's "only" a very good game, but not a masterpiece.

A very fun and foolish tactical game. We played it with a lot of pleasure even if it too simple compared to other tactical games. Another marvelous video game from The Behemoth.

Hand of Fate worth every cent of it. It's an amazing blend of a card game and a roguelike. Try it.

The cooperative horde shooter formula still works great and Epic Games knows it, but Fortnite doesn't quite deliver.

Yakuza 4 aged better than the third episode, that's for sure: the game delives an almost modern Yakuza experience, with nice graphics, a solid gameplay and four different characters with different styles and backgrounds.

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League is one of the best games for PlayStation VR. Fast, funny and frantic. But it desperately needs more content.

Fortunately, Dying Light Platinum Edition for Nintendo Switch is a successful porting for Nintendo's hybrid. Despite the obvious and inevitable need to downgrade, the portable version remains enjoyable with a huge amount of content and a sufficiently solid frame rate.

The Trace: Murder Mystery does a great job in involving the player inside the mechanism of investigation, offering a well crafted system for exploring, investigating and manipulating the environment. Despite some lack of charm, this game can be easily enjoyed by every adventure game fan.

Given the technical quality and the excellent matchmaking, Archetype is definitely worth a try for all FPS fans out there. The controls are great, the action is fluid and there is a good number of well-balanced weapons. The matches via Wi-Fi work very well and we experienced very few latency problems. Unfortunately, you can only play team deathmatch on five maps, so the game becomes repetitive very soon.

We know that early access is a great way to guarantee good progress to the development of video games that require accurate balance of mechanics and the broadest possible feedback from the public. This technique has done wonders for the likes of Hades, and turned out to be an absolute wonder for Inkulinati too: Yaza Games has greatly expanded the space of possibility available to players, enriching the game content and reviewing in a meticulous way some elements potentially capable of breaking the delicate balance of the game. Too bad for the permanence of some rather unfair situations and for an excessively long tutorial, which runs the risk of alienating players.

Sonic Origins Plus is a title that should not be missing in the collection of any fan of the very fast blue hedgehog and SEGA mascot: it updates the historical chapters of the franchise to high definition, in an always respectful operation that enriches graphics and mechanics. It must also be said, however, that we are dealing with the exact same offer as last year, with the addition of Amy as a playable character and twelve titles dedicated to Sonic and Tails from the Game Gear era.
