GRID 2 is a solid racer, addressing some of the complaints players had with the first chapter. Still, some features have been left out of the package like the cockpit view and the chance not to use flashbacks in the PRO difficulty settings. An easier comeback.

As it often happens, from a simple idea comes a strong concept that can bring to a deep and structured gameplay. Sure it has flaws in variety and characterization, but it's still an enjoyable game

Riot makes its console debut with 2XKO, kicking off Season 1 and the full release of its new fighting game. Predictably, the title adopts a standard live-service structure, featuring a Battle Pass, in-game currencies to unlock characters—provided you're willing to grind—and a cosmetic shop with rather steep prices. On the flip side, however, is a fighter with a rock-solid combat system and an excellent roster that makes every online match incredibly rewarding, thanks in part to its high-tier rollback netcode. The real question remains whether the game can attract and retain a large enough audience to sustain future updates. 2XKO falls into that 'easy to learn, hard to master' category—a trait that has historically alienated a significant portion of the casual player base.

Project 83113 struggles to be a faithful homage to old-school 2D shooters, and it succeeds in many ways: however, controls are not responsive enough and the difficulty level gets way too frustrating for it to be a true hit.

Inazuma Eleven has not aged very well and with the latest installment (Team Ogre Attacks!) hitting stores right now there's really no reason to dig into the most bastic iteration in the franchise, unless you are an avid Inazuma Eleven fan.

MySims Agents is the most traditional episode of the series, but also, probably, the best one. It's an interesting and amusing, albeit unoriginal, adventure which will delight younger players more than the older ones.

The best NBA 2K game so far when on the court, with a strong career mode. Microtransactions are still an issue in some game modes.

Ecology is a delicate issue and not always dealt with properly in the videogame field. Imagine Earth even makes it one of the cornerstones of all its gameplay, on which it builds a layered and fun game.

Honor of Kings is the king of MOBAs and it shows. Lots of different modes, dozens of heroes and stellar production values make this game a safe haven for anyone who wants to try something different, albeit akin, to the likes of Wild Rift and Pokémon Unite.

Assault Horizon is a good evolution of the Ace Combat series, it retains some typical flaws but balance those with a good integration of new elements as reguards contents and technical progress. The inclusion of the helicotper is a good diversion and the all new multiplayer section adds a good amount of gameplay.

El Shaddai is a unique game in its kind, thanks to a unique and artistic design, a fascinating plot and a decent gameplay. Visionary, fascinating, hypnotic, is a good title but not suitable for all players.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame is not one of those crappy tie-ins which try to sell a franchise without respecting its own identity. It is instead a true sequel to the original movies, flawed so weakly that the gameplay is unaffected. Ghostbusters are back and not just fans will love this awesome action-game.

The beauty of this game is completely inherited from the past: it adds nothing to the classic formula, and it hasn't genius. It's time for Nintendo to put his best teams working on 2D Mario again, or soon it will be too late.

After finishing it, we thought that Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is the kind of experience that only a studio like DON'T NOD can afford to make and that should be rewarded even just for the courage shown to propose such an adventure in a completely new setting, although not exactly original. A rarity these days. It is not without problems, between having to retrace one's steps too often and the lack of some useful information in the inventory, but on balance these are venial defects for an experience that has proven to be truly engaging in many ways and which grows in the end, always proposing borderline situations that test the player from different points of view.

Despite some flaws, Pepper Grinder is far from being an unsatisfactory video game. In an industry where quality has now become synonymous with quantity, the game developed by Ahr Ech and published by Devolver Digital goes against the grain. Nothing too complex, but complexity is certainly not required to propose a fun, old-fashioned adventure that looks more to the past than forward, while still being able to amaze with the "little" it has to offer.

Nocturnal is a short but intense, stylish metroidvania action platformer that delivers fun mechanics, visceral combat and intense platforming sections based on timing and reflexes, but at the same time it's got many trial & error moments, sometimes unresponsive controls and just a few different boss fights. Oh, and it's very short: is that a problem for you?
