LEGO Voyagers is a tender and well-crafted adventure that tells a story about friendship and the value of the time we choose to spend with someone else. It does so through a narrative conveyed by images, whistles, and small gestures of love and camaraderie, without ever putting a single word on the screen. The feeling it seeks to evoke, rooted in the Danish concept of hygge, is one of warmth and wholeness, the kind of completeness that only this type of bond can bring. Unfortunately, the control system lacks precision and reaches its most frustrating point precisely in two of the most important aspects of the LEGO universe: building and creativity. Players’ inventiveness is never truly celebrated; in fact, over the five hours it takes to complete the adventure, stacking bricks often feels more like an obstacle than an opportunity.

A fun and exhilarating experience heavily relying on what Nintendo did with the Mario Kart series over the last few years. It may be not the best in its genre, but it's surely worth a try and an overall well packed game.

Unravel is a remarkable achievement on the artistic side, with some evocative nordic landscapes and an effective protagonist. But the dualism between his platform and puzzle mechanics are not totally convincing, and the level design is a bit flat.

There's something very genuine in the way Blaster Master Zero remains faithful to the original title. More than an aesthetically revamped reboot, this is an exciting, old fashioned action game.

Many of these power-ups create synergies with the roll of the die. For example, you get bonuses if the roll is even, or if it is a very specific number. Spells are also inserted into systems that involve normal attacks or die rolls. At the end of an attempt you will be able to inflict elemental status effects on opponents, unleash secondary effects and, after a good roll of the die, be able to attack by making only critical hits that in the meantime heal you. This fusion of all the power-ups, this network of synergies that is created, is the most fun aspect of The Eternal Die and makes each game different. It should be noted, however, that while spells play a fundamental role, sometimes the roll of Fortune seemed like a very optional mechanic. In our best games we almost completely ignored the blue power-ups - those of the die - despite having the upper hand on all the enemies.

Hydroventure: Spin Cycle is a great physics puzzle game, but the overall value seems a bit reduced by the uncomfortable use of the 3DS hardware. However, fans of the genre should really check it out.

The game expands one of the best fighting games ever, with a new balance and four new characters. That said, it remains a DLV dedicated to the biggest fans of the series.

Capcom released a solid porting of the original Resident Evil: Revelations and its sequel for Nintendo Switch. If you haven't already played them, this is a nice chance to return in the world of survival horror in its most classic style.

Wytchwood shares much with its context. The small team of AlienTrap Games managed to create a powerful game that is capable to obscure the derivative nature of its origins. The only guilt that can be attributed to this project is that it wasn't able to determine when it was the right time to put an end to its story.

Grow: Song of the Evertree is a colorful game that takes from many minor and major games before it, with a discrete success in building up its own identity. Even if it has its flaws it is able to speak to a younger audience in a compelling way.

Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move is a really "by the book" puzzle game, and the book is a good one, indeed. The editor adds to an already notable longevity, and, while it probably lacks that little thing that creates a masterpiece, it remains an excellent purchase on the eShop.

Revita is a truly inspired and interesting roguelike, characterized by a very pleasant pixel art and a valuable soundtrack. However, what really stands out about this game is the focus on the peculiar balance between upgrades and health, and also the many enemies and different bosses you'll encounter during each run.

Stealth Inc is hard and frustrating, still there's nothing satisfying as clearing a stage you thought you would never leave. For fans of puzzle game only, others may have to buy a new Vita after throwing one out of the window.

Perhaps also for this reason, the developers have decided to review the lighting system and therefore give the graphics often different color tones, especially in the night phases: the result is perhaps not classifiable as "better" than the original, but rather as a different artistic approach. The loading times are decidedly less brilliant, however, and we found them a little longer than the average for PS5 titles.

Trine 5 A Clockwork Conspiracy is exactly the game we expected. It picks up the formula of the fourth chapter, introduces a few minor innovations and continues on its own path. It is a puzzle-platformer that is fun in solo and cooperative play, lacking in enemy characterization but still relying on the excellent trio of protagonists. Fans will not be disappointed.

With EA Sports FC 26, the Canadian development studio takes an interesting path, but the final result doesn’t fully manage to convince. The two gameplay presets are a smart addition, Career mode gains momentum with Manager Live and Unexpected Events, and Ultimate Team receives a few useful tweaks that help refine the experience. However, between a still spotty defensive AI, a midfield sacrificed on the altar of spectacle, a Realistic mode that is intriguing but far from brilliant, and a monetization system that permeates every mode, there’s still a long way to go.

Nobody Wants to Die is a narrative adventure featuring a fascinating cyberpunk setting that draws heavily on some rather famous works (Blade Runner, Altered Carbon, and a dash of Ghost in the Shell) to tell an interesting and engaging story built entirely on the two protagonists. The gameplay is limited to crime scene analysis and the developers have not dared to trespass; rather, they infused the investigative mechanics with contextual hints that make the experience quite guided, but no less enjoyable.

DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue</strong> is no doubt more of the same stuff but it's a more of the same we like because it's damn fun. To make things crystal clear, if you enjoyed the previous installment you will also love DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue regardless of dejavu feelings, but if you didn't go crazy about the franchise before, you will not change your mind. The overall quality is just the same, excellent as much as cheap: a solid, lengthy 6-8 hours adventure, tad harder than before but even more fun.

Another Crab's Treasure is a soulslike action and platform game that manages to come up with some original ideas and knows how to entertain. It is a pity that it drags a bit in the ending, stretching the last section too long, but overall it is an adventure that we recommend, both for its good combat system and for its story, which in a mostly cheerful and comic way tells about the evil of pollution and capitalism.
