Age of Mythology Retold is by no means a simple remastered version: sure, it is in excellent shape thanks to the modern version of the Bang Engine, the remake of the animations, as well as the implementation of the orchestral soundtrack, but it is in the gameplay layer that they hide the juiciest news. If every single element of the work, from the divinities, through the civilizations to the individual units, has been evolved and modified according to balance and dynamism, there are also several absolute innovations in the area of quality of life. Of course, you still encounter some problems in the pathing and such invasive work can generate some unexpected bugs, but it is without a shadow of a doubt the best possible way to enjoy one of the most fun RTSs ever made.

Unsatisfactory for those accustomed to open-world games of this decade and lacking as an (un)enriched re-release of a game nearly twenty years old, *Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster* risks ending up poorly. Fortunately, the charm of its original concept and the characterization of the game environment, along with some still-valid ideas, lift it from a fate of potential mediocrity. It will be hard to become as passionate about it as some did almost twenty years ago, and newcomers to Willamette won't find enough content designed for them. But all in all, a stroll through Al Fresca Plaza and a chat with the guy at the supermarket still work today... just much less than before.

Card Hunter is a remarkable and sophisticated casual game with a deep strategic soul. Unfortunately it lacks some options to personalize matches and involve other players in our own adventures.

The Tomb of Sammun-Mak is a really polished, innovative adventure that adds some brilliant ideas to a too often immobile genre. This second episode of the third season is one of the best ever delivered by TellTale.

After last year's successful instance, Madden NFL 17 bring additional value to the franchise. You won't find any particular new element inside it, but you'll definitely enjoy the overall football experience, even if you are a seasoned player or a novice.

Just Cause 2 is way better than the first episode, much more action packed than the usual GTA style game, and also grants great fun thanks to the well devised grappling hook's mechanics. But the game it's not all just about shooting and grappling we can also drive more than one hundred vehicles and fly choppers, Cessna and powerful jet fighters.

Darksiders looks great on PC, thanks to the greater resolution and the lack of tearing. The game itself comes with excellent graphics and nice artistic direction, but its strength lies in its gameplay: War faces hundreds of different enemies, using many different weapons, and there are plenty of puzzles to be solved in each level. Definitely a fantastic action/adventure game, an exercise in game design that can't leave you indifferent.

What if Patapon converted itself in a tower defence game? Dinosaur Slayer is a brilliant App for iPhone/iPod Touch with a deep and structured gameplay that lasts for hours of fun and challenge.

The last episode in Agharta Studio's franchise is clearly a better, longer and polished game, but there are still many flaws from the previous chapters, for example the lack of an hint system that can help the player or a bad Italian translation.

Another step forward in the evolution of the NHL brand from EA, although the increasingly complex control system brings also some flaws for the arcade fans. Plenty of options and game modes make NHL 13 the most expansive chapter so far.

Bring you Home is a puzzle with a nice twist, although a bit derivative. The fact that you're controlling the levels instead of the main characters is funny, and the characterization, art and animation make it shines, even if some solutions seems a little random.

Resistance 3 has an enjoyable single player that lasts the right amount of hours. The plot is good but it starts to lose appeal from the middle of the game. Good words for the multiplayer too with a complete redesign from the second chapter that boosts the fun factor and the gameplay mechanics.

Continuity 2: The Continuation is a game that puzzle-lovers should absolutely have on their iDevices. The game offers the same idea behind the first chapter, but enriched with new charming gameplay mechanics. Sadly the music is not so catching and the very minimal graphics may not appeal everyone, but if you haven't played the first Continuity, you should buy this one without hesitation.

Continuing directly in the vein established by the previous chapter, Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse offers another interesting and disturbing tale, immersed in a Japanese maritime atmosphere. The writing is good and, as usual, the world-building draws us perfectly into the situation, although the more strictly playful parts are even more diluted and less interesting than those in Seven Mysteries of Honjo.
