Playing Astro Boy: The Videogame feels like being thrown back to the 8-bit era, when almost every tie-in was a crappy game. And Astro Boy is indeed a crappy game.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is disappointing in many ways. Though it features some solid mechanics, the game delivers a short single player campaign and some mediocre graphics.

If you meant to buy a Wii RemotePlus, then FlingSmash is a reasonable purchase, since the bundle is sold basically at the same price of the controller. The idea of using Arkanoid-like mechanics in a colourful adventure was certainly original at first, but in FlingSmash it has been transposed in a flimsy gameplay and in a very dull experience. The game suffers the lack of extra modes, interesting minigames or ideas that truly take advantages of the Wii RemotePlus' capability.

It's clear that developer VD-DEV wanted so badly to bring a Gears of War-like experience to Nintendo 3DS, but the result is a game with way too many flaws.

Despite a new free to play formula and some different mechanics from previous games, Gangstar New Orleans doesn’t do enough to take the series to the next level.

Warm Gun is funny and frantic, and also it has a great graphic thanks to Unreal Engine by Epic; however, the imprecisions of system control make the game experience sometimes difficult.

Sadly, The Fight is all-air, focusing first on aesthetics, then content. Calibrating the Move before every match is just a pain, while combats doesn't give any satisfaction to the player: the character is too slow and his punches are so inaccurate. The game doesn't adapt itself to the player's ability, but it's just the opposite, with the player that must submit to pitiless rules and a bad implemented controller.

Driver Renegade 3D sports quick, immediate and amusing gameplay, but no content beside a brief Story Mode and a monotonous Career Mode. With no multiplayer to be seen, this is a missed opportunity and a game not to buy, at full price at least.

Dreamkiller amuses for the time that lasts, about 8 hours. It is sold at budget price.

Low difficulty setting, way too simple objectives and a shallow plot: H.A.W.X. 2 looks like aimed at a younger user base, which is quite in contrast with the basic concept of a Tom Clancy's game. It's not a bad rail-shooter overall but most of the features developed by Ubisoft do not save this game from mediocrity.

The Harry Potter videogames saga comes to an end with a fun third person shooter in which you'll use your magic wand in a lot of different ways. The game is sincerely enjoyable, but it's also way too short and simple.

A really boring game with few valuable features. Some ideas are pretty good, even if not really original, but Extintion can't stand on your console for more than one hour before deplenishing all its fun. A foolish marketing choice to price it at 60 euros, even on PC.

The only big problem of this porting is its technical aspect. Everything is worse than the PC version and the lack of stability in the frame rate has several bad effects on the camera. However the contents are all there.

The once great name doesn't save Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos from its flaws: though it has some smart strategic elements, this is a quite convoluted mobile strategy game about menus at best, or a simple cash grab at worst.

Despite a few interesting game mechanics and Mike Carey's writing, X-Men Destiny is a pale adventure with no challenge whatsoever and really outdated visuals. Fans of the franchise would rather play as one of their beloved heroes or villains instead of a generic super kid, that's for sure.

Sonic Boom: Crystal Shards could have been, if not a good Sonic game, at least a decent 2D platformer, with its pros and its cons. But SEGA and Sanzaru Games have inexplicably decided to kill their own creature by adopting a really cheap trick: in order to progress, it is necessary to play the same levels over and over again.
