The Witch Queen is a masterful expansion. An almost totally perfect symphony played by an orchestra that seems to have finally found an optimal direction. Destiny 2 fans have something to rejoice, but above all to play, as the approach to Lightfall has just begun and we can't wait to find out what will be hiding in the upcoming seasons.

Yakuza 0 is awesome on PC thanks to a perfect port, which lets you play up to 4K and 60 frames per second based on your configuration.

Despite the interesting and open level design, Tomb Raider is more akin to the average action adventure than you would think. An overall linear experience, with plenty of cinematic sequences and over the top roller-coaster rides that falls somehow short of expectations when it comes to the survival matter.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is a great game on Wii U, but considering the frame rate issues, the absence of DLC support and a somewhat disappointing use of the Gamepad, you might want to stick to the other versions if you have the chance to.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart proves to be a spectacular and exciting adventure on PC as well, thanks to a porting that may not be perfect but is pretty damn solid, especially considering how many problematic day ones we've seen this year on this platform.

Tribes: Ascend is an old-school skill-based FPS with a modern engine and an interesting class system. Graphics are good, fun is concrete, kills are gorgeous and there is still room for many improvements.

Super Monsters Ate My Condo! is still fun and enjoyable, but the differences between this sequel and the original are scarce.

Love you to Bits it's a sweet and charming adventure, with a good level design and a brilliant art direction.

Asgard's Wrath 2 is greater than the expectations one might have had for this sequel. A content-rich, well-structured game but one that rests on an action RPG formula that has lost its freshness.

Silent Hill 2 is still that video game capable of disturbing and captivating every kind of person, thanks to its moral ambiguities, tragic love story, and exploration of the depths of the human soul. Bloober Team has managed to craft a work that remains faithful to the original, expanding and layering the experience, offering a modern take on the myth while drawing from the same sources of inspiration that guided Team Silent twenty years ago. The ancient, sensual, dark magic that permeated James Sunderland’s journey through hell is still powerful. From here, if Konami has the courage to keep its promise, the series can be reborn.

Minecraft Switch Edition is the best portable version available of the most famous construction blocks game.

Gears of War 4 on PC is absolutely stunning, probably the best game to show what 4K gaming looks like. With plenty of options and a good optimization, everyone can find the right configuration. But the Windows 10 store is still a bad user experience.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is a technically well made conversion, with which the original game returns to shine.

Guilty Gear Xrd returns with more characters, more features, a revamped combat system for new players and all new storylines. Gameplay is fundamentally unchanged but it's just better than before.

Valfaris is a masterful game, a wild ride that inherits the spirit of the great shooters of the past and offers it to the glorious gods of metal.

Probably the best game available on Psp, Ghost of Sparta is a "real" God of War from every perspective, and a fantastic game that every fan of the series should not miss.

Panzer Corps 2 is one of the best wargame of recent years. If not the best at all.

Tropical Freeze was a hit at the time and now shines again in docked Full HD of portable 720p resolution: a fantastic game with tons of collectibles, secrets and an astounding soundtrack. If you haven't played it on Wii U, don't you dare miss this chance again.

Mario Kart World has the DNA of a masterpiece: the best driving system in the series, a beautiful world, superb animations, stunning water effects, and a wonderful soundtrack. All of this, however, is held back by questionable design choices: most notably, the absence of a Classic Mode, and the fact that 24 racers often make the races feel too chaotic.

Nioh 3 is a bubbling cauldron of ideas and mechanics—undeniably fascinating—now featuring a dual combat system that lets you switch between samurai and ninja styles, both top-tier in terms of quality. Customization is through the roof: you’ll be swimming in thousands of weapons and armor pieces, happily getting lost among the sheer number of skills and moves available right from the start. That said, the game world—more open than ever—still feels like yet another liminal playground built purely for our rampages, lacking a story strong enough to hold everything together. There are no memorable legends or truly empathetic characters to light up its gloomy paths. Difficulty comes and goes in waves, swinging between relatively gentle stretches and brutal spikes of pain, especially when facing certain damn bosses with particularly messy and hard-to-read attack patterns. And then there are simply too many systems in play: too many blessings, the regular parry, the deflecting one, the purifying one, the anti-explosive one. Many of these layers don’t make Nioh 3 deeper—just more confusing, and noticeably less elegant.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition comes with two years of improvements, the expansion Reaper of Souls and the promise of timely updates. Enough to justify a next-gen edition.

Punch-Out!! is exactly how a remake should be made. But the core mechanics are probably more suited to the people who enjoyed the other punch-out!! games than to newcomers or casual gamers.

League of Evil is not Super Meat Boy: the overall experience has been impoverished by the easiness of the game and the banality of the level design. Anyway, although it's certainly not a perfect platform, the game has a great 8-bit style and suitable controls. The really low price represents another fillip, while the developers will constantly publish new levels, traps and game modes.

The new campaign satisfies the single player needs while an enhanced Battle.net provides a better framework to enjoy one of the deepest multiplayer experience yet.

Dishonored 2 is the perfect example of the “more of the same” concept. It has the same exact good features as the first chapter but the same problems as well. Other than this, it's probably one of the best stealth title on the market right now.

This is clearly an "all-in", an action masterpiece born from all of PlatinumGames' possible ideas and resources. Bayonetta 3 it's unapologetically extreme, and never stops to impress or surprise with its constant changes and amazingly layered combat system. If you had any doubts about Platinum's actual status, this game should eliminate any worry.
