Disco Elysium remains a narrative masterpiece and one of the best RPG experiences around. The Switch version is not the most technically astounding around, but it's clearly well made and solid enough to offer the original experience in all its glory to any player.

NBA 2K14 next-gen incarnation arrives with many highs and a few lows. On the plus side it achieves an incredible technical goal and the revamped My Player mode with The Park, dedicated to those who love to play fast online games. Less impressive is the same old playability.

Total War Warhammer is not perfect, and not all the subsystems have gotten better, but the changes are there, and they bring a lot of new possibilities that fans of the Warhammer Universe and the Creative Assembly games will definitely love.

Rakuen is an isekai adventure that deserves to be lived for the first time by those who missed it when it first came out and to be appreciated one more time by those who had already loved it. Rakuen Deluxe Edition puts together both the video games and the animated series created so far on this well-characterized and recognizable universe, coming with its characters and its own rules, filled with memorable and intense stories.

With this fourth chapter, Saints Row has partially lost its identity. It's still fun, at times, but aliens, virtual reality and superpowers ultimately impact not only the gameplay, but also the overall spirit of the saga itself, as the feeling of being part of a criminal gang is utterly gone.

The Definitive Edition keeps all the good characteristics of the original one and tries to breath new life with a good amount of options and fine tuning, but after two years and a generational transition we should expect something more. Nonetheless, it's still an amusing experience.

The work Capcom has done on the Switch 2 version of Street Fighter 6 is commendable. The game is impressive in classic fights, to the point of looking more refined than the PS4 version, and the online experience currently feels just as solid as on other platforms. It's a pity about the slightly higher latency compared to other versions, and a World Tour mode that isn’t as polished or optimized as the rest of the game—otherwise, this would have been a truly flawless port of one of the best fighting games ever made.

Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery is an astonishing example of art direction, with gorgeous pixel art graphic style combined with one of the most incredible soundtracks in videogames history. The gameplay is probably not on the same quality level, but the final result is absolutely a must buy on any iOS device.

Square Enix, which usually makes discreet holes in the water with remasters, has managed to significantly improve an RPG that was already a masterpiece of its own. If only he had had more courage, and had put his hand to the slightly spartan pixelart, Tactics Ogre: Reborn would have been perfect, but all in all we also understand the desire to preserve a certain level of nostalgia. It is officially the best turn-based strategy you can play: if you love the genre, and you are not afraid of the English texts, you absolutely have to make it yours.

It's really difficult to describe in a few words what Dragon Age: Origins means for the RPG genre. It's role-playing at its roots, with an incredible story arc, deep gameplay and an atmosphere no other game can deliver. You'll hope the game will last forever. There are really few problems in the gameplay but we can say without any doubt that Origins is the RPG of the year and, perhaps, of the last few years.

The Sims 3 is a great game, a truly masterpiece, fresh, mature and innovative. With beautiful visuals, the game is full of new contents, the life of our avatars is not set only in one house but we can stroll about through an entire city. This a giant leap from the other games created by Will Wright.
