Even tough Toy Soldier War Chest is a strategy game, action mechanics often prevail and can leave dissatisfaction feelings to all tower defense fans. Moreover we pointed out an evident lack of innovation and some questionable design choices.

After the marvel of the beautiful graphics and a first moment of thought that surely emerges about Rae's condition, there isn't really very much that remains for long after the short experience of Beyond Eyes.

FIFA Mobile is all about opening pack of cards, while the real soccer action lies in the background and it’s also pretty disappointing.

Papetura is an adventure that fits into those point-and-click works that have become hallmarks of Amanita Design over the years, but it does not come close to the same playful quality. The paper world of this short (but cheap) game is excellently crafted, and the soundtrack could count on a proven industry expert, but it is not enough to recommend the game to all fans of the genre.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game it's a poor and hasty tie-in. The gameplay is based almost entirely on stealth action, but the exploration is reduced to a minimum. The combat system seems to work well, but it makes possible to kill the enemies just shaking the controller randomly.

After getting used to its control system, VRFC Virtual Reality Football Club can be funny. However, no offline play and a small player base can make it a risky investment in the long run.

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage is a classic and dated beat'em up with a poor graphics and a not perfect gameplay. But it will satisfy any fan of the manga. If you are not among them, you should definitely look somewhere else.

Mutant Roadkill is an interesting variation on the theme of running games, since you drive a car and must kill as many mutants you can by running over them.

Natural Doctrine is definitely one of the most hardcore and ruthless tactical RPGs available, but it's also deeply flawed in almost every field to worth the hassle.

White Knight Chronicles II is a good quality sequel that fixed most of the errors of the first episode. It's not perfect, not a next-generation RPG, not a masterpiece, but is a pretty good game, if compared to the (low) current rating of similar products.

We eagerly awaited the return of Endless Ocean. Unfortunately, Luminous has largely disappointed expectations. The gameplay and level design are so ephemeral that relaxing while exploring the seabed is too boring and lacks any appeal.

Curse of the Sea Rats is a beautiful jewel, shimmering and inviting, full of interesting ideas from an artistic and characterization point of view, but it is insubstantial to the touch. Nice to see, a little less to play. Flat and unbalanced. A pity, given the whole series of excellent choices taken about powers, skills and improvements.

Shrek: Forever After - The Game looks like a Crash Bandicoot clone, which is not a bad thing: the green ogre jumps, turns on itself, breaks crates and fights enemies through a series of very colorful stages. The basic gameplay is also accompanied by a series of alternative sections that involve the accelerometer and enrich a control system otherwise based solely on the touch screen. Unfortunately, the virtual d-pad is really unresponsive and makes the overall experience frustrating and cumbersome.

We can praise the concept behind Arma Tactics and the strategical basis on which the game is structured, but the many flaws of its production ultimately make it an interesting idea not well fulfilled.

Winter Ember is a game with nice ideas, but it is blocked by many small problems. The control system is always awkward, especially with the controller, and the combat system should be completely overhauled. The storyline is enjoyable and will push many to make it through to the finale, helped by a well-crafted area design, but limited by a too-close view.

Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince is what you might expect from an average tie-in, if not a little bit less: it's aimed only at harcore fans, and yet it could disappoint because of the shallowness of the plot and the poor cutscenes.

Karateka remake is a solid effort with casual audience in mind, there's very few challenge for the player. Game is unbelievably short and simplified, rhythmical parry is a nice idea overall, but we expect something more ambitious from this reboot.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a bizarre mix of sensations. The latest effort from Rocksteady Studios is a fantastic game on a narrative level, full of brilliantly written characters, completely off-the-wall situations and truly epic scenes, which moreover can count on a solid, frantic and fun gameplay even in the most messy and confusing moments, especially in co-op. It is a pity that the open world doesn't support these elements with more conviction.

Kandagawa Jet Girls is a lovely game but when it comes to its core mechanic, the jet-ski action, struggles to offer a decent challenge and cannot provide any kind of entertainment.
