Let's start with a premise: beware of those who, overcome by frustration and difficulty, will tell you that there's nothing good in Splatterhouse. This remake pays tribute to the original arcade game in the best possible way, adding details and time travels to an already engaging story. The gameplay is extremely raw and unforgiving, which will make you scream out of frustration several times, but it also will definitely keep you glued to the screen for all twelve levels.

There are way too many party games on Wii: that's why the main issue of Pac-Man Party is that it does absolutely nothing to stand out in the crowd.

Mars: War Logs is an interesting take on sci fi RPG, bestowed with a fascinating background and robust hack'n'slashing. On the other hand, it lacks depth and optimization in many of its features, ultimately resulting in a mixed bag.

Water is hydrophobia's main attraction. The problem is that there isn't much else to entertain yourself with. Still worth a try if you don't fear water.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact is far too easy and repetitive, and it's got some very poor AI. The cel shaded characters are very nice to see, however, and there are plenty of missions to complete for the die-hard fans of the anime.

Face Noir is a solid adventure that plays safe instead of taking some risks. There are some new ideas that need to be further developed and a well thought story that often slips into genre cliché. All in all a good debut that could lead to interesting improvements in its second chapter.

In terms of narration and atmosphere, Blacksad: Under the Skin is true to the comic album series. However, problems concerning some interactive components and the presence of bugs and glitches can’t be ignored.

To ensure the sufficiency of the title of Torus Games there is the game system that remains well-grounded in concepts and sufficiently malleable to let you play. All the rest, however, is a series of stumbles and falls of style that find very little explanation. Not only an unjustifiable lack of content, but above all a little attention to detail that displaces those who are in front of it.

Ferrari: the Race Experience, waiting for Gran Turismo 5, is a good racing game based on realistic phisic and simulative gameplay; thanks to all the glamor that only Ferrari can give with its cars, and the budget price, the graphic problems can be easly overcome. So, for a PS3 fan of racing games in abstinence, it's highly suggested.

UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves should not be purchased if you are looking for a new great game to complete. If you dive into it with this idea, it's very likely that you will be disappointed. This new game from Microids is instead a kind of monument to a great author and one of his most beloved robots, a collectible piece to be placed between the action figure of Mazinger Z and the collection of comic books dedicated to Getter Robot.

Painkiller is the namesake song by Judas Priest — but sung by Blanco with autotune. It pretends to have the same toughness, but it’s really just the voice of an off-key kid propped up by an algorithm. What it truly is, is a generic co-op FPS with little content, not even saved by a few decent shootouts. In short, it’s better left in Purgatory — along with its cast of characters constantly cracking embarrassing jokes. Skip it and move on to something else; you won’t miss a thing, because there’s very little “Painkiller” here at all.
