Cities XL is a fresh and innovative game. It is graphically beautiful and full of interesting features that set it to the top of the genre. Unfortunately there are some issues with the online.

WWE 2K17 is a rich and comprehensive game, designed exclusively for the hardcore fans of the WWE shows, but this year's iteration lacks the story mode and brings the same slow and cumbersome gameplay we experienced so far.

New Tales from the Borderlands did not deeply impress us and we believe that such an expected following would have deserved something more. The end result is an enjoyable game, which knows how to get even more laughter but which does not thrill when it becomes more serious and dramatic. Also sorry that Gearbox has only made half an attempt to expand the playful side with too simple minigames. It's not a bad game, as mentioned, but it's not the masterpiece that some were hoping for.

Bloodsports.TV is a good hero defense game, without the pressure of games with PvP. Make sure you will be able to play it along with your friends, in order to enjoy it properly: although single-player matches are available, they take just a few time before they become too repetitive.

Galactic Civilizations 4 is a good strategy game made by someone who knows how to handle the genre. Too bad that in some cases he has fallen victim to his own ambitions.

Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs is not a bad game which brings along some neat features, still it's way too similar to the prequels, especially Shadows of Almia, both visually and gameplay wise. This new installment is recommended to anyone who never played Pokémon Ranger before and, of course, to any Pokémon fan who might want to add some rare monster to his own collection.

EndWar is a raw diamond: Ubisoft has tried to innovate in the RTS genre with the voice control scheme but at the same time the gameplay is still very classic like any other strategy game with a general lack of tactical aspects.

We had high expectations for WWE All Stars, but unfortunately the game failed to deliver. The Wii version, in particular, comes with so many problems (cumbersome controls, poor collisions, awful sound effects, lack of multiplayer) that's hard to recommend it even to a huge fan of the genre.

Compared to I am Setsuna, Lost Sphear is a step forward and a step backward at the same time. Tokyo RPG Factory improved on storytelling and character development but the gameplay structure and nuisances aren't just recalling the good old times. They just feel outdated and sometime plain annoying.

The first half of Metrico is challenging and interesting. The second half is just irritating, due to the schizophrenic use of all the input methods of PSVita.

The main problem with the Stimulus Package is that real new content is really not much, given the price of admittance. Hardcore fans are buying it anyway, but the value isn't there.

How these french bakers succeeded to create a good mix between an epic story, billiards, squids and rpg games, it's still a mystery. Anyway, they did it. This is one of the best indie games on Wii U e-shop.

With Blackguards, Daedalic takes a step back both from narrative and gameplay perspectives. A boring quest, uninspiring characters and a frustrating combat system cast a shadow over some good ideas.

Probably the most predictable story Yoko Taro ever wrote, and yet Voice of Cards is still a nice little JRPG, with good characters and an interesting world that probably deserved more time.

It's as ridiculously over the top as the last Saints Row, and definitely a step in the right direction when it comes to gameplay and variety. The problems stem from the limitation of the classic open world structure and some technical issues (mostly some irritating bugs).

Football Manager 26 is the new entry in the FM series — for better or worse. After skipping a year, Sports Interactive used the time mainly to migrate its massive database and core systems to Unity rather than to revolutionize the game. The result is a solid installment with a few interesting additions — most notably off-the-ball formations — and plenty of familiar strengths, especially its ability to captivate players for hours. Match graphics have improved but still fall short of excellence, menus are clearer yet not perfect, and the inclusion of women’s football expands the managerial options even further. If you love this kind of experience, nothing else on the market comes close; but if you’ve already conquered everything from Lega Pro or simply don’t care for football, this won’t change your mind.
