Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is the classic game from ACE Team: stylistically splendid, it requires the player to accept its peculiar dynamics in order to truly appreciate it.

Hunt the Night moves smoothly just like her protagonist, Vesper, without forgetting to indulge in its aesthetic and musical delicacies, revealing to be capable to build a well-structured, stimulating dark fantasy ambiance, effective both in the exploration and in its combat system. The soundtrack is excellent, and some tracks have left a deep mark in our mind. Some undeniable technical issues notwithstanding, we can’t help but applaud Moonlight Games for its capacity to build a retro action adventure that looks at the past its aesthetics, but gives a deep insight at more modern experiences.

Halfway through simulation and accessibility, World of Warplanes indeed finds a sweet spot, although, in the long term, what will make or break this game is support from the devs.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a game of substance that is not lost in frills: ideal for action lovers and for fans of the Alien saga, honored with every detail present in the game. Unfortunately there is a lack of truly original ideas to make him stand out from the mass of third-person shooters.

Alice: Madness Returns is stylistically gorgeous, with its crazy characters and a great environmental design. It's a shame that everything is spoiled by huge technical issues, bad graphics and a great lack of variety.

If you are a big lover of classic RPGs and if you can't play the game on a PC or Mac, then Avadon could be your ultimate game for iPad. For all the other players it's just a complex game with a bad interface and a gameplay really far from the usual aspects of gaming on iPad.

There's no reason to keep on playing after clearing the game once with each character, probably the main flaw of a decent dungeon crawler with a very good multiplayer infrastructure and weird game design choices.
