Outlast 2 is violent, obscure, creepy and really engaging: an outstanding survival horror game.

Project Hospital is the best hospital sim on the market, better than Two Point Hospital. It is the real heir of Theme Hospital.

Intuitive yet tactical, addictive but fair, Gunfire Reborn is a genuine and clever addition in the overcrowded world of rogue-lite games, with nice mechanics and a fun although very simple characterization.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit is a short but dense prequel, which introduces interesting characters, even if the game mechanics are too anchored to the past.

Fast, spectacular and exciting, After Burner Climax looks like the perfect remake of the classic arcade game. The choice of three different planes but also the novelty of the Climax Mode increases the depth of the gameplay, but the game is far too short to last more than a few days.

The Surge 2 improves some of the elements of the first episode but apparently worsen others. However, the soulslike formula still works and there are plenty of enemies to fight.

The need to have a console and a kart for each of the players makes the multiplayer experience expensive and exclusive, and we really wonder how many will have the opportunity to share it with a friend or another family member. From this point of view, the ability to pass the console and take turns in Timed mode is just a meager sop.

Darwin's Paradox draws on elements from platformers and adventure games to bring to life the incredible retro-sci-fi saga of an octopus, managing to keep players hooked level after level. The start may seem a bit slow and the pace isn’t consistent, but you’re always left curious to discover what lies in the next level, thanks in part to constant variations that keep things interesting. A game from a bygone era, one that was sorely needed.

As good as the Xbox One release, Garden Warfare is very funny and entertaining but it's not a tough competitor for Call of Duty or Battlefield.

Black Mirror III is the third and last installment of the Gordon's saga. The title is a decent point & click adventure and brings some new features like main character "possession" and dual character gameplay. Sadly the implementation of these elements is not so good and fails raising the overall quality of the title.

Mario Tennis Aces is a great and complex game that mixes tennis and beat'em up mechanics very effectively. Differently from other Nintendo titles, it isn't so fun to play before mastering it.

Although not benefitting much from the added 3D effect, Tales of the Abyss has aged incredibly well as it's still one of the best entries in the series and an overall excellent jRPG. This 3DS porting is basically an improved PlayStation 2 version with shorter loading times, crispy and colorful visuals and an amazing amount of content. Sadly, nothing has been added to encourage owners of the original version into buying it again.

It's a delightful game, with joyful visuals and some genuine humor, and Intelligent Systems should be praised for their original approach: however, some serious balance issues keep Paper Mario: Sticker Star from being a true classic.

Forget real soccer, Fifa 10 on the Wii is all about arcade-style, over-the-top gameplay: it's fun and it has some nice touches, but it ends up being a sort of Mario Strikers stripped of its most exciting elements.
