Final Fantasy Record Keeper proves that the free-to-play approach to a historical series like Final Fantasy can be made in a right way.

Despite obsolete graphics, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is a solid, challenging 2D fighting game.

Score! Hero is a pretty clever way to mix strategy and football in an experience that fits well on the touch screen. Just don't expect a very deep gameplay.

Angry Birds Action! is a nice pinball-like spin-off, what a pity it uses an aggressive monetization system.

It's a little shallow and its peculiar scenery could have been better exploited, but in the mobile environment there aren't so many survival roguelike with a character like this.

Emily Wants To Play is a nicely done creepy title, despite the simplicity and a truly inflated cue (the classic haunted house), managing to make right random mechanics, although not without some issues. It will scare you and it reveals a great pastime to celebrate Halloween. Will not last long and it is graphically poor, but what we have here is a title that we recommend to all those who love the genuine jump scares.

The Trail has good looks and an intriguing concept, but after playing it you just can’t fight the feeling that you’ve just wasted time doing nothing.

Evil Factory is a fun and witty pixel art action game, but its virtues are somewhat limited by slippery controls and IAPs that get in the way in the long run.

It's the style that strikes at a first glance in Bulb Boy, and it is ultimately what remains of this game, after its (short) course. Quite enjoyable as a puzzler, the game is short and quite straightforward, but its mood and atmosphere is something to remember.

Onrush is totally fun at first but after a few hours the enthusiasm fades away. The game lacks of in depth mechanics, something that is essential to keep players on the servers in a multiplayer-based experience.

An FPS with a brilliant concept ad a great execution, plagued only by some matchmaking problems and a bland art direction. Not many players are playing it as of now, and it's truly a pity, since it deserves a lot more attention.

Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot The First Cases is a mystery novel in the form of a video game. Structurally very linear and simple, it's a good adventure for fans of the genre who are looking for a contained work that doesn't distract with secondary elements or gameplay mechanics that have little to do with the genre.

RIDE 5 improves, optimizes, enriches the experience of the Milestone series thanks to a lot of new content, including several brand-new tracks and a well-structured and interesting Career mode, which focuses on the traditional Gran Turismo-style progression system while missing the opportunity to rationalize the difficulty balance according to precise and not circumventable rules.

Capcom completes the conversion of the Ace Attorney saga with a compilation that does justice to the three games that make it up. The remastering work is good, but some more extras would have been appreciated. A must-buy for Phoenix Wright adventure lovers, provided they already have the first trilogy that boasts even higher narrative levels and are not allergic to visual novels.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is a fresh and fast way to dive into the world of Pokémon collectible cards. On one hand, it simplifies and speeds up battles, sacrificing some strategy; on the other, it highlights the collectible aspect and the beauty of the illustrations, which have recently enhanced the latest paper expansions. The result is a game best enjoyed in small doses, to avoid getting too caught up in the numerous, albeit not overwhelming, microtransactions. It will be interesting to see how Pocket and Live evolve in the coming months, but for now, it’s an enjoyable digression from the original experience.
