It's a shame that this porting of Max & The Magic Marker is the most poor version so far. Despite the developers' efforts, the small screen of the iPhone makes impossible to draw accurate lines and shapes. The iPad version is slightly better, but it still has some problems with the controls.

MAG delivers a massive online multiplayer for up to 256 players, a good matchmaking and almost no lag. The maps are huge, but they come with a mediocre design and you can see only four of them when you choose your army. The frame rate has frequent issues, while the sound effects are mediocre. We were expecting more from Zipper Interactive's PS3 debut.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is a fun game like we haven’t seen in a while, but it holds a great deal of untapped potential. The shift from first-person to third-person perspective brings many promising ideas, yet it turns out to be a double-edged sword that makes the gameplay feel less precise and less challenging than before. From a game with such a wild universe, a similar gameplay foundation, and so many years since the previous title, we expected something more — perhaps a standout concept or a weapon you'd never forget. It loses momentum along the way, but chances are you’ll finish it in just three evenings. Playing solo doesn’t diminish the experience, but if you’re looking for a new co-op adventure — and it even supports split-screen for close-quarters fun — you might just have found the game for you.

Pocket Academy is probably Kairosoft's deepest and most polished sim actually in the App Store, with a lot of things to do and a huge attention to students' characterization. With this expansion, Bethesda partially redeems itself in the face of Fallout 3 fans' so high expectations, pulling out a much better effort than the one provided for Operation Anchorage. The main problem seems to lie in the way these expansions are structured, which doesn't allow them to fully exploit Fallout 3 potential. The ones who devoured the main quest, will probably like The Pitt.

12 Minutes is a game that proves to have a great story and an equally valid idea behind it, however the implementation in terms of gameplay does not always work and the freedom given to the player collides many times against an artificial wall, leading to conclusions sometimes illogical. Consequently, the narrative also suffers this backlash, since above all the policeman (and in rare cases also the wife) are bent to the need for the "game over" and are inconsistent or too forced in some of their behaviors. It's a shame, because the twists are certainly not lacking and the evolution of the story is growing, but also thanks to the fact that the events must follow a specific course and the clues are not so clear, the loops accumulate with a lot of frequency.

Rise of the Ronin is the result of Team Ninja's desire to evolve its pure action-based formula through an open-world structure: at its core, the great strengths remain the same as always, but the paradigm shift has not brought the hoped-for benefits. The combat system is indeed a deep, layered, and accessible amalgamation that delivers excellent sensations, in some ways akin to a fighting game, yet the framework in which it is placed never really manages to serve its purpose. The world-building is classic, the activities are very simplistic, the graphic section and technical execution are absolutely not up to date, while the historical setting is extremely interesting but ends up limiting the scenery and aesthetic design.

More quantity, with the same high quality thanks to a Jamboree that less than a year ago established itself as a great episode, a grand return of the 1998 saga. If the goal of Jamboree TV is to sell cameras, Nintendo has chosen the ideal exponent: the ability to actively engage the player in a colourful and fun party game is unique and only possible through video capture of the room and players.
