Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is, overall, a well-crafted game. The main issues lie in its portable nature, which does not suit the Switch well: the fragmented rhythm due to missions, the local multiplayer requiring more than one console, the graphical inferiority compared to Luigi's Mansion 3.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind feels more like a DLC than a MMORPG. The main campaign isn't very long and the new features such as the Warden or Battlegrounds don't really add that much to the game itself. Fans of The Elder Scrolls III will probably feel nostalgic when running around there where everything started but then everything will become The Elder Scrolls Online again.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is a solid entry for the Hungarian team. It doesn't add much, nor does it innovate, but the game has all the credentials to draw you in, amuse you, and at times enchant you thanks to its artistic compartment, mixing with great detail bits of gameplay on the whole work. It will probably be a title that will be devoured by some skilled players, others will find it unbalanced, still others will read its flow in advance, but the narrative, sound, technical and play system on offer works more than the sum of its individual parts.

MotorStorm: Apocalypse has to deal with some contingency situations (the earthquake in Japan and the consequent delayed release) that inevitably created problems, especially in terms of online content. The single player campaign, however, is long enough thanks to the three different "chapters", thirteen vehicle classes and more than thirty races placed in nine different locations. The on-screen disaster is convincing both in terms of visuals (except for the color palette, too bright) and gameplay, with scenarios that change dynamically between a lap and the other.

Tails of Iron 2 Whiskers of Winter is practically a version 2 of the first game. It takes the bulk of its mechanics and structure, offers a game world that is beautiful to look at, and expands it slightly with a magic system and a management side. The two major new features, however, are not particularly impactful, for better or worse. Hell is Us is a video game unlike most others: it is bold in addressing current and brutal themes such as the war ravaging the Middle East, showing the atrocities of conflict without compromise, and in giving players both the honor and the burden of keeping track of their own progress in the story, completely removing from the equation any markers or indicators that might point out the path or highlight elements of interest. At times, perhaps, it overestimates the player’s attention span, perceptiveness (and memory!), forcing connections that aren’t always immediate, but it’s flattering that it dares to try, and that it succeeds most of the time. It’s a pity, then, that the combat system clashes with the rest of the game: it feels uninspired, simplistic, and never tries to reinvent itself to provide the same kind of mental stimulation that the rest of the experience strives for. Not everything holds together as it should in this title, but we are certain that some of its elements will stay with us for a long time.

Tales of Berseria was one of the most innovative titles in the series, if only for its cynical narrative that challenged the player's perspective with far from trivial themes and twists. But already in 2016, Bandai Namco's game suffered from technical limitations that a remaster can only partially address. That being said, we obviously recommend Tales of Berseria Remastered to fans of action-packed JRPGs who have never played it or who feel bereft of the series, awaiting better times.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is a fun game, but not enough to overlook both its game design flaws and the fact that it has no real reason to exist. Its poorly written dialogue, non-existent story, and characters with endlessly repeated lines often put a spoke in the wheels of the otherwise fun gameplay based on bugs, robots, and other giant enemies to kill. The experience, however, is in no way different from that of the previous chapter and seems designed only for die-hard fans of Earth Defense Force since it adds very little beyond a few new enemies and the characters from the sixth chapter. Those who do not know or appreciate the series, then, are surrounded by video games that offer the same type of entertainment at a low level of difficulty but with much greater longevity and depth. Only the most devoted fans of the series will know how to have fun in the company of this game because it is designed almost exclusively for them.
