Aug 31, 2025For players who are interested in Destiny‘s world and story but either don’t have a console or PC to play it on or don’t have the storage space to install it, Destiny: Rising is a fine alternative. With a more limited loot system and simpler loadout options, Rising offers a lighter Destiny experience without skimping out on any classic elements of Destiny. Set in a volatile but richly engaging part of Destiny’s history, Destiny: Rising delivers on everything it set out to be, with the potential to become something more.

Sep 26, 2025Destiny: Rising delivers a polished sci-fi mobile RPG experience with thrilling combat, strong visuals, and engaging progression systems that both casual players and hardcore grinders will enjoy.
-
Sep 3, 2025Destiny: Rising offers the quintessential Destiny experience that you know and love, but with a couple of changes that leave me asking questions. The gacha system feels a bit out of place in this world, but at least the characters are fun to use, and the microtransactions aren’t too intrusive.

Sep 15, 2025Destiny: Rising implements fresh ideas that I wish Bungie would steal for its own game, but it gets bogged down due to the nature of typical gacha mechanics.
-
Sep 19, 2025Destiny: Rising has become one of the biggest unexpected surprises of 2025. NetEase has unexpectedly offered a highly competitive alternative to frustrated Destiny 2 fans, albeit presented with a touch of gacha elements. This should be a wake-up call for Sony and Bungie.

Oct 3, 2025Destiny: Rising is better than you might expect, often making you forget it’s a free-to-play gacha game. The story, though separate from the main canon, feels authentic, and the action is both fun and engaging. There’s plenty of content, but much of it is locked behind slow progression, with major parts only accessible later, and the campaign reuses the same areas too often. You’ll enjoy what you’re doing, even if the places you do it in become repetitive.

Sep 1, 2025Destiny Rising is a game I wish I could like. I love a great space opera, and the core of that is here. Good controls and meaningful progression lay a promising foundation. Sadly, little else about playing the game does anything to draw you back in.
