When S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl clicks on all cylinders, the game is an atmospheric tour de force with a mysterious and unique story, haunting environments and enemy design and exhilarating gunplay. Add in industry leading sound design and a beautiful musical score and you’ve got the recipe for a great survival horror game. Unfortunately, erratic AI, some visual and performance issues, uneven voice work and a gruelling campaign length will put some players off. However, if you can look past these deficiencies you’ll fall in love with this truly unique game. I am in awe of how this game exists for developers in circumstances I cannot begin to fathom. Long live the Zone!- Movies Games and Tech

I do think it is a solid game, a fine entry into the survival genre. The airship mechanic is fun. Gathering supplies to survive is engaging and customising your airship is great. There is even a co-op mode for friends to play with. But a weak combat system and exploration being repetitive does bring it down.- Movies Games and Tech

I’m not going to say that Hymer 2000 is a game for everyone. Most people are looking for experiences that are filled with spectacle, excitement, and high levels of interactivity. In spite of this, those looking to be lost in other people’s heads (and willing to do a bit of detective work) may hail this as one of the more fascinating indie experiments of 2025.- Movies Games and Tech

Captain Wayne probably won’t appeal to everyone and won’t have the longevity with just this one game, and I think that’s okay. For Ciaran Games LLC’s first game on Steam, the game does its job and has a clear image of what it wants to do. The developers could focus on making new Captain Wayne games, each one playing like a new episode in the series. I could see a future where there’s an “Ultimate Captain Wayne” bundle with five Captain Wayne games together at a cheaper price than buying them individually. Personally, I’m not sure I will be tuning in, as its not my genre of game. However, I’m still hopeful that this is just the beginning for Captain Wayne.- Movies Games and Tech

A Pizza Delivery was a short narrative game which made up for that with its intriguing characters, appealing artwork, and landscapes. However, due to its short length and story which I felt could have been explored more in-depth I don't think the £12 price tag is justifiable, so you're better off picking this game up on sale. If you want a short yet touching experience then look no further.- Movies Games and Tech

Duskpunk provides an engaging experience for those who enjoy decision-based story games. Strategy is still an important factor on how you play this game, but it’s all worth it to experience this game’s rich story. Take this with a grain of salt as I had been reviewing the demo of Duskpunk, so I am unaware of what’s to come after a certain point.- Movies Games and Tech

Let's Sing 2026 is a fun singing game that will impress those who love to entertain. It is colourful, easy to understand, and amazing with friends. Furthermore, the VIP pass creates an impressive roster of songs.- Movies Games and Tech

From the opening gambit, I knew this would be a special game. Yet, it was the sheer layers of complexity and the never-ending content that took me by surprise. Furthermore, the story is a wonderful blend of parody and tongue-in-cheek humour. As such, this will make you chuckle even though every mission can be demanding of your time and attention. If you want a brilliantly casual title that is amusing and addictive, then look no further.- Movies Games and Tech

A.I.L.A has a great story that becomes more interesting the more you continue, and it has a really great idea and demonstrates it very well. The gameplay is good but has much more potential due to the game’s settings and different timelines. Visuals are good, but I expected more from a UE5 game, especially regarding how the enemies look. The sound design is amazing, always making you feel watched, which makes the game a lot scarier.- Movies Games and Tech

It is not a bad idea. It is just unfinished in spirit, like a proof of concept that made it out the door too early. With more time and clearer direction, this could have landed. As it stands, it just doesn’t.- Movies Games and Tech

Tiny Bookshop is insanely repetitive but with an addictive quality to it. The customization options reinforces the fun, and the slow narrative progression is rather soothing instead of boring. It’s a short and sweet, cozy time. Most of the gameplay is just waiting around though. Aside from the recommendations mechanic, I wish you could interact more with customers. I also wish that the environmental interactions could be more involved or elaborate. Regardless, I highly recommend this game. I think with the upcoming cold front and the tendency to become hermitic for the holidays, this is the perfect time to open up your tiny, digital bookshop.- Movies Games and Tech

When it comes to the category of remasters and remakes, I am becoming disillusioned by the minute with every release. Anima: Gate Of Memories 1&2 Remaster is a needless and quite cynical attempt at porting an older game to current generations. Whilst new visuals will attract some fans of the franchise, there are far too few new additions and updates and this is very disappointing. The developers could have made some vast improvements in the quality of life department but ultimately they chose to make it quick and easy. Overall, it is a profound disappointment. I cannot in good faith recommend this remaster to anyone who already purchased these games almost 10 years ago.- Movies Games and Tech

Now I can't let all of the bugs & glitches I come across completely change my opinion of Winter Survival, though I'm certainly not letting them slide. It's no doubt graphically one of the best survival games I've played, pair that with the big and appealing open world, along with the challenging aspect to it then you've got yourself a solid sandbox game full of hungry animals which will sniff you out rather quickly, note to self, make sure to always have some kind of weapon equipped instead of always running away...- Movies Games and Tech

Reus 2 is a fun god-like city builder where your giants rule the roost. Although it is a little grindy, it is enjoyable controlling every human and massive beast. If you've played the original, this will be familiar. However, if you are new to the franchise, some trial and error is needed.- Movies Games and Tech

Tormented Souls 2 does a good job emulating the survival horror greats that came before, ensuring that younger players are able to experience the older style of gameplay even as bigger brands continue in other directions. It certainly has a learning curve for newcomers, but those who persevere will discover why the genre was so popular during the 90s and 2000s.- Movies Games and Tech

I believe the developers at Haemimont Games made a great decision in relaunching the original Surviving Mars. Many reviews claim that the game is too similar to the original. However, I think this should be obvious given that it is a “relaunch.” The game isn’t designed as a sequel to the original. Instead, it serves to bring the game more up-to date with modern gaming, running on more advanced engines. It is a relaunching on the game’s life and for that, I think it is doing it’s job well. Plus, with future DLCs, the game will hopefully continue to be worked on and improved. I can see a bright future ahead of Surviving Mars: Relaunched, and a bright future for life on Mars!- Movies Games and Tech

Painkiller isn’t bad but it isn’t good either. It is another co-op shooter that has little content in it and doesn’t stand out from the other competition. Boss fights are fine, and the gunplay is decent. Unfortunately, they get old fast and the game just isn’t fun to put hours upon hours into. Honestly, just play Warhammer: Darktide or DOOM. They are more fun and worth your time.- Movies Games and Tech

Depending on how you play and enjoy games, Skopje ‘83 is very divisive in that regard. Some people may like a game where it doesn’t hold your hand and you’re allowed to explore wherever. There is enjoyment in finding things out on your own, but even that has its limits when you end up repeating the same moments with very little change. This is a hard game to recommend to most people and it feels like one where you would need a guide to help you through it. The gameplay and art style carry this quite well, but the lack of direction is one of the main proponents knocking it down in terms of enjoyability.- Movies Games and Tech

EARTH VS MARS is a solid strategy game. But that’s mostly it. It doesn’t add any interesting characteristics that we haven’t seen before, and it takes few risks with its gameplay. After a while, I did find myself wanting to play a different strategy game, one that really makes me think and one that doesn’t take an absurd amount of time to show the damage being committed to enemy combatants. In the end, Earth VS MARS doesn’t do much wrong; on a different side of the same coin, it doesn’t do too much great either to separate itself from an ever-competitive genre.- Movies Games and Tech
