Overall, I really enjoyed Scott Pilgrim EX and think that Tribute Games Inc. did an amazing job! It may not be the same team that developed the first game, but I hope that fans of the franchise enjoy it nonetheless. There’s mayhem, multiplayer, and a whole lot of enemies to brawl. I don’t have much to complain about, and the game genuinely surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. Typically, I don’t go for side scrolling beat ’em ups. This one takes that genre and does so much more with it.- Movies Games and Tech

Alex the Rabbit is a dated platformer that will not test you. However, its basic ideas are perfect if you want a straightforward and easy to understand game.- Movies Games and Tech

Escape from Ever After is a fantastic, satirical turn-based RPG that was inspired by Paper Mario. The 5 chapters flow nicely and the story is interesting and amusing. However, the timing element and repetitive character models hold it back.- Movies Games and Tech

Overall I think Reigns:The Witcher combines the two franchises extremely well. Having minimal experience with Reigns before, this title makes me want to re-visit their other titles, and a must try for fans of either. The characters, the world and the music fit the gameplay and the humour perfectly. Strong recommend, especially on handheld devices such as the switch or mobile phones.- Movies Games and Tech

As much as I love the series I do think the next chapter should be the last. If they really wanted to I do think they could make way more chapters and honestly I wouldn’t complain because the games are great, but we all know that milking a franchise can come with some big drawbacks, and I don’t think Mob entertainment are silly enough to jeopardize the great reputation the series has built. But hey, I’m not going to complain if they make some spinoffs or even a few movies…- Movies Games and Tech

Overall, the Super Bomberman Collection is a fantastic and faithful remastering of classic titles. These seven titles which many, including myself, have never played, are addictive and chaotic party games which are best played in couch co-op with friends. Sadly, the lack of online multiplayer leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Thankfully, great quality of life updates and brilliant additions soften the blow. Remasters can sometimes be unwarranted but this is the perfect collection to introduce to a new generation.- Movies Games and Tech

Recommending it depends entirely on your tolerance for self-inflicted irritation. If you enjoy punishing, precision-heavy experiences that test your composure, you will likely appreciate what it offers. If not, there is a clearly labelled Rage Quit button waiting for you. The game will not judge you for pressing it. It will just make a joke at your expense.- Movies Games and Tech

ChromaGun 2 is a little overstuffed at times, but the central puzzle mechanic is good fun and mostly results in well-thought-out puzzles.- Movies Games and Tech

What makes this game special is personality and freedom. It trusts you to push its systems. It rewards curiosity. It lets you look at a distant structure and decide how you want to approach it, not how the designer expected you to.- Movies Games and Tech

Under The Island is a heartfelt indie adventure that understands exactly what it wants to be. It combines exploration, combat, puzzles, and story into a cohesive experience that feels both nostalgic and fresh. It may not push technical boundaries or introduce groundbreaking mechanics — but it doesn’t need to. Everything this title offers is done perfectly. If you’re drawn to retro-inspired action RPGs with charm, mystery, and a strong sense of place, this is absolutely worth your time.- Movies Games and Tech

HumanityZ is a fun, challenging, and interesting twist on a well-trodden genre. The balance is just right and the 1.0 release offers a clear endgame objective. If you love zombie action, you need to give this a go.- Movies Games and Tech

I do wonder why this game was not made to be on mobile, outside of if you are using a steam deck. This could be a free, match 3 mobile game with ads/optional ads—a casual game to play during a commute. I would be a bit more understanding of the limitations. Regardless, I hope small quality of life updates are made to at least improve on the decorating aspect outside of the match 3 game.- Movies Games and Tech

If you thrive on deep combat systems, layered progression, and high difficulty, this is easily one of Team Ninja’s most refined efforts. For me, it’s a game I admire as much as I wrestle with. But there is enough there to to make want to go for 100%.- Movies Games and Tech

This genre is a little saturated, and indie devs love to try different themes with limited originality. Thankfully, Ball x Pit is a unique hybrid that gets things right. Moreover, it is on Game Pass, and it’s great if you love handheld gaming.- Movies Games and Tech

When I Hate This Place is at its best, it feels like a great 80’s B movie which is full of over the top mystery and horror. A great story is propelled by a superb environment, ensuring fans of the comic series won’t be disappointed. Sadly, survival horror fans may feel somewhat short-changed, by the uneven and often far too easy resource system, along with a plethora of performance issues. Still there’s great fun to be had, with some fun stealth and a brilliant soundtrack.- Movies Games and Tech

The meditative repair work is there, and the busted garage gives you a goal to strive for, but it’s dragged down by everything else. From the ugly human models to the awful controller support. The fact that the racing is so awkward and unsatisfying means that that engine repairing is all you’ve got. If you can lose yourself in that, then you’ll find some fun. In the end though, you’ll be asked to drive the car to the drop-off location and it’ll all go downhill.- Movies Games and Tech

You'll find many anomaly horror games whether you're browsing the Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox store, and you'll realize quickly enough that a lot of them are very similar and don't really have anything unique about them. Play The Attic 18th and after the first 10 minutes you'll see just why it's so different from the rest in the sub-genre, unique mechanics, an interesting short story, and a tense experience makes it outshine the rest.- Movies Games and Tech

Monday Syndrome is fun. It’s chaotic. It’s cathartic. The foundation is there. The price tag doesn’t ask much but once again that’s not the issue. Once the developers bring this title up to what has been promised I’d be happy to change my score but for now, I say give it a miss.- Movies Games and Tech

Deathless. The Hero Quest is a fantastic addition to the roguelite genre with an intriguing narrative, strong gameplay loop and gorgeous visuals. Whilst the level of depth in relation to the deck building may not satisfy some hardcore fans of the genre, it’s still a great experience. Sadly, some animations can affect your enjoyment of the game, but for the most part, this is an absolute blast in a great fantasy setting!- Movies Games and Tech

Though I think that overall, the game's positives outweigh the negatives, I had a difficult time really getting into it. I felt that everything was pretty standard for what I might expect in other strategic roguelites and there wasn't anything in particular stood out to me as a player. Still, perhaps one to consider if you are a fan of the genre!- Movies Games and Tech

Reanimal has a dark story, carefully crafted for a deep exploration into the concept of dehumanization using animals as symbols. The gameplay is fully 3D and features improved combat, but falls short in its platforming and puzzles. The visuals are outstanding, creating an eye-catching dark atmosphere and world with high-fidelity graphics and perfect performance. Sound design and soundtracks harmonize with the visuals to further immerse the player in its darkness. Reanimal has both improvements and drawbacks, with enough shortcomings to place it slightly below Little Nightmares 2.- Movies Games and Tech

Ultimate Sheep Raccoon doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does put a fun spin on it. When it works, it really works: chaotic courses, driving rivals into madness and genuine “just one more race” vibes. But there are still rough edges: controls that can feel off, traps that lack depth, and a sense that the full creative promise is just beginning. If you’re into chaotic multiplayer fun and you’ve got friends ready to dive in, this is worth giving a shot — especially as the community builds its levels and ideas. But if you’re after a more polished, full of content perfect sequel, you might want to wait until more updates arrive. Or play the original Ultimate Chicken Horse.- Movies Games and Tech

Don’t Stop, GirlyPop! is a game with zero interest in being subtle. It’s fast, flashy, and fully committed to its aesthetic and mechanical identity. When it works, it delivers moments of pure kinetic joy, those rare stretches where your brain shuts off and your hands just know what to do. It won’t convert everyone. But if you love movement shooters, experimental vibes, or games that dare to be loud and weird and joyful, this one’s absolutely worth your time.- Movies Games and Tech

Overall, I enjoyed Steel Century Groove and can definitely see myself continuing to play every so often. It isn’t the best game out there, but it certainly is not the worst. I would recommend this to players who are fans of rhythm games as it goes above and beyond what your typical rhythm game might look like.- Movies Games and Tech
