A zombie outbreak wiped out civilization as we know it. Hordes of zeeks gnawed their way to the top becoming the world's apex predator. A few years later, regular humans are an endangered species, with isolated pockets struggling to survive in this new, unwelcoming world.

Welcome to HumanitZ, an isometric, open-world survival game, where you can try to make a difference and put humanity back where it belongs - at the top of the food chain.

Will you gamble on cities and the loot there knowing hordes of zeeks might be around the corner? Or do you try to survive off the land in the country, through hunting, fishing, and farming?

HumanitZ is about as open, free, and brutal as it gets for a post-apocalyptic sandbox. The depth of this title is stunning, and anyone who loves an overwhelming zombie nightmare will probably fall in love with it, just as soon as they get to grips with the at-times complex mechanics. Every time you think you've learned everything about HumanitZ, something else is guaranteed to surprise you.

HumanityZ is a fun, challenging, and interesting twist on a well-trodden genre. The balance is just right and the 1.0 release offers a clear endgame objective. If you love zombie action, you need to give this a go.

HumanitZ has its flaws, suffering from inconsistent design features, some light bugs, and slow progression despite cutting out some of the depth featured in similar titles. However, it still makes for a worthy contender in its genre, striking a good balance between deep survival mechanics and beginner-friendly accessibility.

A solid experience combining sandbox and zombie survival, solid but harsh in solo mode, demanding and enjoyable in team mode.
