I really wanted to love Gotham Knights, and mostly, I did. However, I can’t ignore its repetitive gameplay, awful vehicular control, and the inevitable complaints about the frame rate. Yet, this DC title is enjoyable. The combat is smooth and captivating; the villains are great, and the story flows nicely. What’s more, two-player cooperative action is the icing on the cake. Yes, it could be better, but hardcore fans won’t care.

The Devil's Playhouse is wonderfully funny and full of a lot of psychic-related puzzles. The writing's hilarious but the puzzles suffer a little, with a reliance on psychic toys and dialogue flags. Still, it kept a smile firmly on my face.

In short, Characters are forgettable, dialogue is sparse, the and world is lifeless. And the only good thing, the gameplay, is very repetitive.

In conclusion, this tower defense game is a hidden gem that successfully marries pixelated charm with deep, strategic gameplay. It’s a game that I can see myself returning to, eager to try new strategies and conquer its challenging maps. However, a few additional features or upgrades could elevate it from great to truly exceptional.

Explosive Candy World is a colourful and retro platform puzzler. It's deceptively simple and will make you scream during the latter stages. Nice drip fed mechanics keep things fresh though a lack of NG+ or a leaderboard stifle it.

Amanda the Adventurer is a sinister and uncomfortable horror experience. This title should have been adorable! However, a creepy protagonist and a shy sheep help to create a truly grim game.

Police Shootout is a fun but simple cop adventure experience. Though it lacks polish and it is slightly buggy, I enjoyed it nonetheless. Accordingly, if you want to kick ass and arrest some bad guys, this is the game for you.

Kofi Quest is such an interesting and original RPG-style game. It’s got plenty of great action-packed battles against a variety of monsters and creatures, heroic music playing in the background, an extensive world map to travel and explore, and plenty of unique friends to meet. I think, for the most part, the game brings such a wonderful array of side quests to tackle and can keep the player occupied as well as the freedom to do as you please. I just feel there are a few issues that aren’t easy to avoid and can wreck the joy of the gameplay because it doesn’t work out or plays as it should.

White Day 2: The Flower That Tells Lies doesn't quite fulfil my expectations. However, when it excels, it is a fascinating horror experience. Sadly, though, it doesn't quite live up to its predecessor. Additionally, it is reasonably repetitive, and the jump scares are predictable as a consequence. If you can put the shortcomings to one side, you'll adore the atmospheric audio design and the exceptional puzzles. Furthermore, there are multiple endings to enjoy if you can work through the pain.

Ultimately, Crazy Rocks makes a valiant attempt at evolving the formula but doesn’t quite stick the landing. If you want another game in the same vein as Papers, Please but with a little extra spice and an additional dimension then this is the absolutely game for you.

As a whole, I struggle to say that Rune Factory 5 was worth the 10 year wait. You’d expect such a sought after title would show some development since it’s previous title in 2012, but I can’t say this game delivers. There are definitely elements which are thoroughly enjoyable. The more time you put into the title, the more fun you’ll have. If you’re bored of every other farming sim and release from Rising Star, maybe this game could suit what you’re looking for. But if you’re searching for something a little more groundbreaking then you may want to keep looking.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is a 3D beat-'em-up that is ideal for younger gamers. It is colourful, loud, and silly. However, it outstays its welcome and older gamers will become tired. This divisive approach wasn't great and it will appeal to a niche audience.

Sephirothic Stories isn't the best RPG, but I enjoyed it regardless. The characters are colourful and the short play time makes it bearable. Consequently, though there are better examples, it is still fun.

The Coin Game is an interesting concept despite its flaws. With loads of games to play, 5 locations to visit, and plenty of modes to try, there is something for everyone. However, it lacks depth and this holds it back.

Exogate Initiative has a promising core gameplay loop but is still under development. The game offers a compelling foundation if you enjoy strategic base building and space exploration with a dash of crew management. However, newcomers might find it challenging, and the current lack of narrative depth and endgame content might dampen the experience for some.

It is very hard to out right recommend or shun the game. Is it the next Hotline Miami? no. But did I have fun, and laughed out loud? Yes. If you want the experience of borderlands humour at its peak and a challenging combat experience then you can pick up “Memory Lost” on steam right now.

Despite its shortcomings, FAR: Changing Tides is stunning and is an atmospheric triumph. I loved the developer’s vision for a doomed future, and the array of environments you explore.

Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures is a fun and simple puzzle platform title. Subsequently, it is perfect for younger players. It won't challenge experienced players but parents will enjoy the lighthearted action that has no gore and minimal violence.

Heroes of Mount Dragon is a vibrant, ambitious start for RuniQ. It nails presentation and accessible brawling, with dragon transformations adding spectacle and depth. Co-op play, curses, and humour make it a fun pick-up-and-play party game, especially for fans of classic arcade beat‑’em‑ups. But it currently lacks sufficient content and variety to maintain long-term engagement. Identical stage structures, limited enemy types, and some rough edges in gameplay precision and performance hold it back. The lore-rich world hints at growth potential, supported by upcoming content. Bug fixes and expansions could elevate it from “fun” to “compelling.”

Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? is a niche-market game. Yet, it can be phenomenal with the right group of friends. I loved the range of questions, the competitive edge, and the custom avatars. Yet, I know it won’t be for everyone, but I liked it nevertheless.

Parcel Corps is a fun casual game. However, it can become repetitive if you play it for long periods. As such, this is ideal if you want a break from COD or other time-sink endeavours.

Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory is a colourful yet repetitive role play and adventure title. Furthermore, it is distinctly old-school with a political flair. Though its action utilises a familiar gameplay loop, the smooth and stylish swordplay ensures that this is a great game to experience.

Kingsgrave plays around with the Zelda/Metroidvania format by adding in a building mechanic and some twists on the combat. It's a bit clunky - with a rather bare world - but has its charms.

Damn! is a simple twin-stick shooter that will not test you. Though it is repetitive, I liked the stage design and the 5 unique missions on offer. Furthermore, it ran smoothly and I enjoyed the additional arena-based mode.

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers: is an action-packed simulation game full of crime and violence. You must control a rookie cop as he cleans up the city. What's more, as you progress, the crimes become more heinous, and you must rely on your skills and equipment to solve each issue. Sadly, for all its positives, bugs and problems undermine its vast potential. However, if the developers overcome the glitches and issues, this will be a great simulation title.

The Cruel King and the Great Hero‘s storybook narrative and great designs are a classic that arguably never should have left the page. With too many shallow gameplay and world elements, it’s hard to feel invested in anything but the main story cutscenes, but that said, as the game is aimed at a far younger age group, if you are in the market for an RPG for kids, you could do far worse.

Smells Like a Mushroom is occasionally funny, but it outstays its welcome pretty quickly. Though I found the dialogue annoying and the gameplay was repetitive, it was fun to experience. The idea of mutant vegetables and deadly mushrooms was unique. However, the execution is a little off. This was a shame as it holds it back.
